I live in California and when I go fishing where native Americans live they always asked me, what tribe and I? I tell them I'm Pilipino American 🙂

He's 47 now. So he was about 33/34 around the time New Moon was filmed.

@@doublec3 I think they aged up some of the characters from what they were in the books. Which worked in Sam's case, being the leader of the pack. Having an older actor like Chaske playing him gave him a lot more authority (not to mention more intimidating) than if he was played by someone in his early twenties.
I think the actor playing Paul, Alex Meraz was in his mid-20's
