- It also switches between 48w/24w. This is amazing! What will they do next?

I realize this laser has finally come out. I have reached out to Ikier so that I may to a deeper review of the actual machine. It seems incredible, but I am waiting until I hear from someone I trust before making a recommendation. Guessing Rich @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy may get it first. I will keep you posted.
Your work looks great! Look forward to your next video.
IKier has said they were sending me one since the 24W, and then the 36W, and then the 48W... never got even one. Instead of a race to the highest power, they should be looking at Roly and the LaserMATIC 10. Having an all-in-one solution that works is much better than a race to the highest power.
Well, I won't consider it reviewed until YOU, Me or Clack get ahold of one. :) Still hope to review the Roly someday, but frankly I trust your review as if I did it myself.
Is just the begining, I imagine a laser with same diode array but each can be switched off , imagine like anotther axis, like pressure axis, where by software the dot size can go from 6-12-18-24-28... etc if needed
I was thinking the same thing. my dream machine would be like that.
One thing I can see with this laser power "arms race" is the lowering of prices for the 10 & 20 watts laser field.
Yeah, 10w are already dirt cheap compared to before
I have the Atezr P20 plus and the Atezr L2 35 watt laser. The P20 plus is an awesome, solid laser that does what it's advertised to do.
The Atezr L2 35 watt laser is another story, it doesn't autofocus properly and doesn't return to the exact location for repeatable jobs. Did the autofocus feature focus to the proper focal distance on the ikier 48 watt?
I don't use the autofucus. And my l2 36w returns to the exact spot every time. You may have a belt issue or something.
@@ValleyForged the laser returns to the exact start when homed. It doesn't start the job in the same place when using a jig with registration marks. The belts are set to the proper tension. I have a the P20 plus and that laser doesn't have this issue.
@@lupeleather My 36w l2 does not have this issue either. Hope you can figure something out, it should not do this.
Looking to buy my first laser figured it will be a diode. Been researching alot . After seeing this video thinking I may look into this one . Even went as far as placing it into my cart on there website. Can't find anything about it though . I know it's new to the market . Would you recommend for first laser ?
That is a tough one. With the price of the Atezr 36w at $1250, is it really worth it? I will be looking more into this one. I have had a few requests. I think this tech will get better over this year. I would like to see a 12w / 48w switch. That would make more sense IMO. Maybe 12/24/48/64 switch (lol).
Thanks for the reply .Really enjoy your channel it's helped in my decision. I will look into the Atezr 36 more . Again I'm new to this have a woodworking shop and store front thinking engraver / cutter would compliment things I build.
@@timallen8202 You may just get addicted the way I did :)
From what I have found the ATEZR is a copy of iKier's machine. Their speeds are also misrepresented and if you run a test you will find that they simply do not reach the speeds they are labelled as.
I have actually never seen a machine that worked well at advertised speeds. I hardly pay attention to them anymore. I have asked ATEZR to clarify any differences between them, and have had no response. Is it really even much better than the P20? Is it worth the extra money? I hope to have answers soon.
Atezr,Ikier and Atomstack is those not the same ? I think they are all made by Atomstack
Not sure if Ikier is MADE by Atomstack, or just rebranded. But yes, they are FROM the same Company.
when will this come out to buy?
I will keep us posted!
Been wating for the release of this one for a couple of week now. Just worried about the reliability of these more complicated systems.
It seems pretty solid. But who knows until we get the real thing.
Indeed. I'm optimistic. If I had the funds I would get one and find out. Need to pay off my Atezr first.
