It's been about a month since Kintaro was born.
Gentaro's jealousy towards Kintaro was still going on.
Gentaro has been monopolizing his mother's affection all this time, so the sudden appearance of the baby is confusing.
So Gentaro tried his best to get his mother's attention.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

Every other gorilla mom seems to have help with older gorilla moms/daughters. Genki had no help…I’m sure she did her best. She raised 2 awesome kids that’s for sure!

Can’t get over how human like Genki is. Patting her baby to soothe him. So precious ❤❤❤❤. When I look at them and think about what people do to them in the Wild makes me want to cry. Can’t imagine people harming them and stealing their Babies. They are Gift’s from Heaven.

Genki is such a Sweet and Loving Momma to both her boys. Gentaro is so jealous. @@stevemorris6790beginning of this video genki punches Gentaro in the face. After looking again it appears that he didn't do anything wrong but wanted to be included but was rejected, therefore, the reaction from Gentaro.
It's a good thing (Maternal instinct) that Genki protect her new born baby as much Gentaro is precious but at that age it's hard to handle! I remember how Genki hardly had a nice sleep she had to keep kintaro close to her all the times! Fast forward now the brothers are so close 💕
I feel sorry for Gentaro, who so obviously craves his mother’s affection. But by hitting/attacking her he is putting Kintaro at risk and Genki knows it.
So cute kintaro as a little baby,and genki had her hands full managing gentaro away from.kintaro from being.harmed by him,genki is a great mom!

This video is so precious & Genki is doing what any good mother would do by protecting her infant from a rambunctious toddler that has no idea that their innocent behavior could cause serious harm or worse to a fragile infant. I've seen on more than one occasion where a toddler went to gently kiss a newborn sibling & (how cute) then instead quick as a flash hit the infant with the toy they had in their hand. Gentaro is being taught a lesson & Genki is protecting the baby from the toddler & she can even sense Gentaro's next move & if you watched closely you can see she does try to give affection to her toddler but she already knows his intentions are not the affection from her it's to get to the baby. Would you leave your infant in the care of a toddler?

We all know that genki couldn't breastfeed gentaro. But she never showed him love like she did kintaro. She treated gentaro like crap the whole time he was growing up.

Yes, Eliana,you are right!! The zookeepers DID just that to help Genki with the Baby.🌝 She needed to rest to care for Kinny and herself. So Gentaro was put in another room with Dad

They should have seperated kintaro from genki right away just like gentaro,, that way gentaro would get more time with mom😅😂 then bring kintaro back in around 7 or 8 years old or just keep him seperated until gentaro is old enough and would join kintaro... i dont agree with any of this and if i were there id spend way too much time trying to keep them distracted from mating because of how wrong it is..
