Coroner's ''Masked jackal'' video is awesome. I've always held certain metal bands like prophets of truth and doom. The video certainly depicts political corruption which prevails behind the mask of eloquence and moral values which is nothing more than blatant hypocrisy. This was one of the best metal videos from the late 80's.
@lewman321 that's true man! these guys were incredible musicians and composers, and in live performances you can see in what level they are! such a perfect performance like they put the CD in the concert haha. Amazing band, and they're just three guys . Fuck! Coroner rulez!!!!
@pkfjr3671 totally agree, Coroner also influenced many bands afterwards, like Death and you can clearly see their underground footprint everywhere on the thrash-death movement later on. But never got a credit for that. If they did, though, they would have had a great name in our times I suppose.
Will this band got hosed by their label as did a lot of great bands back in the early 90's due to the grunge craze. It was a true mis-justice that they didnt get the support, exposure and air play they truly deserved. Hell even today you are hard pressed to find a better band let alone 3 piece that was that of Coroner's level. These guys were doing SICK scales and sweeps before Necrophagist even had a drivers license. I would put Tommy on the same level as Dimebag any day!
The main reason for that is 90% of em' don't play guitar. It's easy as heck to say that kinda stuff when you don't have a clue. The other 10% just like Pantera more than Coroner. It really does piss me off when people say that stuff. I use to say the same type of crap before I learned how to play. At one time I thought Jimi Hendrix was the greatest guitarist to ever touch a guitar.

You're right about Coroner&their abilities.They're also very unique&more original than most realize.Their songwriting abilities&song structuring also kicks ass.

Anyone know of any projects these 3 did together or seperate after Coroner? Never heard anything from any of em since. There must be something..
