Roof Snow Cutter With Chute

Very effective homemade snow cutter for roof snow removal. 24-feet of windsurfing mast with a right angle piece of aluminum sheet metal bolted to the front, with a 12-foot slide chute from marine canvas. 15-21 inches of snow cleared from 4,000 sq. feet of roof in six hours.

Great idea. Works like a Roof Razor. Same principle. The roof razor is designed to flex with aluminum poles. This looks like it was built for that roof. Again, great tool.

I didn't see any wheels or skis on that snow cutter. I'd be worried about damaging the shingles.
