Show all purchases may not be an option. In most cases buying a song to have in your library works. Not guaranteed though.
After more recent updates. Menu options are different, so this may or may not work for some. Depending on your vehicle, some still have success and others don’t.
If you cannot find a fix, the next best option is an aux cable and a 3.5mm adapter.

Just in case this does not work for anyone else, because it did not work for me. I got so hopeful after reading all of the good comments in this video. Unfortunately it did not work for me, anyone who has a Honda Civic, press and hold the power button to reset it and then select yes that you want to reset. It worked for me. Thank you so much for this video though, it has helped so many people!

Genius! You solved a huge problem. I have a kickin stereo in my VW Beetle and I could hook up my phone via Bluetooth or usb and it played off my CZcams or Spotify.I have traded my Galaxy S22 for an I iPhone 14 and got into my car and realized I didn’t think that through too well and that now my expensive stereo is now worthless. I almost cried, that’s a lot of money I do got to throw around like that. You solved my problem man. So thank you very very much. The urge to cry is gone and now I’m smiling like I usually do when watching you😅😊🎉❤

I have been having this problem forever. Somehow my Apple iTunes wiped all my songs from back in the day. I had to purchase a song to have something in there to play, but now it works. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for this! I was cleaning up storage on my phone and deleted my entire music library, then my phone stopped syncing with my car, so I went in to Apple Music downloaded one song, then I uninstalled my phone from my car and reinstalled, now it’s working again!!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Yea it’s a pain, because stuff like that is updated often. So support tends to be hard to find. Even now since we’re a few iOS updates newer this only works with certain vehicles now.

Yea it’s varies from vehicle to vehicle. Some you can plug up and it just works. Other are a bit more complicated.

They changed it. Now you have to be subbed to Apple Music for it to work.

Thx man been on this problem on volvo for a couple of days. The biggest problem on the new phone after watchin this vid was that the new ios dosent even have a music player. So had to download the apple music app to have the setting option in settings. Thx so much !!!!

I'm not finding "show all purchases". Were you working in iOS 14? I have iOS 15 and it's not there. My husband updated to iOS 15 (finally) yesterday and now he can't play his music with his usb in the car.
Make sure Sync Library is on for IOS 15

Hey I'm using a aux cable with my iphone and playig music through spotify, the music keeps going off the car radio and switching back to my phone speaker. Do you have any tips for this? Have tried numerous cables so I know its not a faulty cable
If you’re using an adapter to connect it to the iPhone, maybe try a new one. If you’re using the headphone jack from an older iPhone, could be an issue with the device.

In order For your music to play You need Apple Music It wont read any other app besides Apple Music once you have 1 Song downloaded Then it Will be able to read Any Song on Any App. That’s why as soon as you plug your iPhone in It instantly plays a song From Apple Music.
