I have a big bag of hexagons from someone. Some her mom put squares together some loose. Having hard time wit them. This would be so much easier.

Hi is there a full version of this video?
I would love to know how to create a whole quilt like this. I have never quilted and only just got my embroidery machine so would love to see. Thanks

This is a great idea, however I have made many quilts throughout the years and my question is, being raw edge and not folded under, I’m thinking when you wash it, the edges will fray and come loose over time, especially if you don’t prewash the fabric first. Now the other thought would be to ‘iron” the edges under then place them to be stitched. You put the cardboard template in the center of the hexagon and fold over the edges and press… obviously more work but thinking more stable in the end. 😊

The edges have a blanket stitch and a covering stitch, so i don’t think there will be much fraying happening on the hexagons
