The last scene in my opinion is not just the father daughter kind of bond. She picks up the news paper and looks at Surya for approval and he does so wholeheartedly. I think it is to say "Yes. You have the right to read, to study, to be educated." This is in contrast to the scene where they ask for community certificate for study purposes but he says they should just catch snakes

I felt the parallel reference for the owl representation. As we all may know owls prey on snakes. The house wall breaking is the intrusion of the owl into the life of holy snakes. Chandru sir entering the court is to go past the owls to find the truth. Finally covers them from the line of sight of these owls by building walls around sengani.
1. When Attorney general is shown at his cabin, the desktop computer shows the Old windows logo. 2. The names of the bus transport corporation , thanthai Periyar - during the police taking over the kid, cheran pokuvarathu kazhagam - when they go to Kerala and some of the the vehicle numbers too starts with TMV.. 3. Nirma advertising boards. 4. It seems the baby bump of the heroine also getting bigger when the movie progresses. 5. And when Surya asks for the telephone number list. The font of the print out list also is kind of old type font. 6. Camera used by surya, when taking photos of shops/clinic is Yashika model. 7. And there is one scene which surya and prakash Raj will speak inside the car in later part of the movie, the frame will show both in the same window without anything in between, unlike the frame that shows them initially with a boundary.
