  • In my latest step by step tutorial how you can make yourself a lovely candle and incense holder using a terracotta plant pot saucer, airdry clay and silicone molds.
DISCLAIMER : Please NEVER leave candle or incense burning unattended as they are a firehazard and I DO NOT personally recommend to use candle and incense stick at the same time. I would recommend to use an artificial, battery operated candle instead. The candle I used are just for representation purposes only.

This is fantastic! 💙🌜 The wood floor varnish you are using here - is it oil or water-based varnish (if I may ask)?

I love this, thanks. At the varnishing stage tiy mentioned using plaster of Paris but I didn't see how and where you used it. Did I miss it? What did you use it for?
    Thanks for your help xx

Hi! Thanks for your message. Its mixed in with the acrylic paint so it gives a chalky paint finish. I mixed 1:1:3 (water, plaster of Paris and 3 parts acrylic paint. ) I hope this helps.

You're very inspired, talented and you're crafts are really great!!
May i ask you something? Is the clay strong enough to not break from the heat of the candle?

Thank you ever so much for your kind comment!! Im so glad you enjoy my content. I have tested it with a tealight and can confirm that it will hold but I always recommend to use an artificial one if possible, as the clay itself its not glazed, just varnished and I can't guarantee if used regularly with live flame, won't compromise the paint or clay. That's my honest insight. ❤️
