You have missed the greatest Chola general ever born. He was non other than the mighty Rajadhiraja Chola, the successor of Rajendra Chola. 75% of his father's expansionist policy was led by him. He was the only Chola emperor who perished in the battlefield. He fought shoulder to shoulder with his men in battle and that was the reason for his death. He perished in the infamous battle of Koppam in Maharashtra
From the time he was chosen heir-apparent by his father to the day he died on the battlefield, Rajadhiraja led the life of a warrior king and led many campaigns in person. Rajadhiraja was first and foremost a soldier and his great military talent led to him being chosen as heir-apparent and succeeding his father.
Not only king Rajadhi Raja cholan i,his 2 younger brothers namely:-king Rajendra cholan ii,and king virarajendra cholan were also powerful.For example , King rajendra cholan ii captured the Andaman and Nicobar islands, and where as king virarajendra chola captured kadaram (Kedah )in Malaysia for the 2nd time in 1068 Just like his father King rajendra cholan I the great.More over,he was also known for establishing many boarding schools in his empire for the students who were coming from the different parts of the world,and am I right brother 🇮🇳🐯👑🐅🚩.
