  • In this week's Urban Valor episode, Marine veteran Don Tran takes the spotlight. Don's upbringing was in Long Beach, CA. Despite multiple arrests during his juvenile years, he made a pivotal decision to enlist in the Marine Corps, seeking a transformative path for his life. Don went on his Marine Corps journey as an 0341 Mortarman, gradually progressing to become a part of the Marine Special Operations Community.
Through numerous combat deployments, Don drew upon his training and experiences. These encounters led him to co-found 'Deep End Fitness', an organization that revolves around the principles of movement, breath work, and cultivating mental strength. The organization aims to enhance human performance both in and out of the water, reflecting Don's dedication to optimizing potential!

      Who is complete God?
Iyov 36:5 - Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB)
See, El is Kabir, and despiseth, not any; He is Kabir in ko’ach lev (strength of understanding).
Translation: Supreme God is Kabir, but despises no one. He is Kabir, and firm in his purpose.
In all Bible translations, the word Kabir has been translated as "Mighty" or "Great" whereas Kabir is the original name of Supreme God.
Conclusion: This verse of the Bible proves that Kabir is Complete God. The one who worships God Kabir by taking initiation from the complete saint sent by him gets complete salvation. After attaining salvation that souls rest in peace in the eternal abode Satlok forever. The throne of God is in Satlok.
God Kabir met Jesus and took his soul to Satlok. On their way, God Kabir made him see his ancestors David, Moses, Abraham, etc. in the Pitra Lokas. Then God took him to Satlok

I got dropped to 1/4 Bco 3rd Plt in Nov 06, and went on the following Iraq deployments with them. Squad bay life was the best life. The fricken Moon dust was the absolute worst. Hated flight suits. RIP Lcpl Burris, fine Marine. We were at AQ for a few days when this happened and escorted him onto the Helo and went to his ceremony before going back out and getting attached to Charlie. Right before or after Operation Mawtini, I can't recall. Crazy hearing this story on here. I was also in Falujah at ECP1 during the following pump. There were more then 2 IEDs that went off at the same time, there were a few like 4 or 5 at the same time. The one destined for ECP1 blew up like 1k meters away thankfully, they tried to hit us simultaneously. Thanks for sharing our story.

My recruiter paid two of my speeding tickets to get me to my meps apppointment. It was months before actually leaving for boot camp so paid him back. I was 17 at the time and didnt want my parents to find out. It was like $500. Like Don said, it's either the Brotherhood starts during the enlistment period because of the small number who join the Marines or they just want to meet their qouta. Recruiting is extremely stressful so probably all about numbers. It didnt help I was leaving for meps in like two days and had no idea any fines had to be paid in advance.
What Don and Prime are doing is amazing. Love hearing the stories of veterans helping veterans. They train us to push all weakness to the back of our mind and is exactly why we always check the box for "no" in our med records and have a hard time reaching out for help. Call it stubbornness or not wanting to show weakness. Hearing these stories make it easier for veterans to reach out for help and make us realize we're not alone, weak, or crazy. It's just part of the military experience for many. Building a veteran community is huge and is one thing that can help bring down the suicide numbers. We need more local groups in and around every city. Semper Fi, Don. Keep up the amazing work you're doing.

A lot of Vietnamese in America are children or grandchildren of the refugees of South Vietnam Before it fell to the north vietnamese. All of those people had they not escaped to America would have been executed or tortured to death by the North Vietnamese. America helped save their lives By keeping up our end of the bargain of helping and saving the people of south vietnam by giving them citizenship in our country. Not like Joe Biden Leaving the Middle East the way we did and leaving thousands of interpreters and soldiers that we trained to fend for themselves and die When we swore, we would never abandon them for helping us and fighting alongside us.

Is this dude Prime Hall's buddy? He mentioned the Afghan inside attack on three guys and one of the guys name was Sky. I seem to remember that from Prime Hall's interview. These men are straight up warriors, straight up Heroes and here in America we are much safer with men like this putting it all on the line to keep us safe. ❤

I used to fight alot, both competitively and in the bars. A real shit head. My buddy and I got into it with a couple Tongan guys one night. The cops couldn't believe that 2 of us fought of 5 of them. Cop said "they're the most fierce people on earth. It takes doze s of baton strikes to the head just to get their attention. " Hahaa. I ended up in the hospital for stitches as I got a bottle and a glass smashed on my head and and face. If you were eating dinner at a Bennigans in Euless, TX in the early 2000s, sorry we ruined your evening. 🤷‍♂️

Pretty hilarious how so many of these guys were arrested so many times but the USMC found a way to get them in. At the draw down of the war they were getting super picky with who they let in

I can see that, as Catholics in Vietnam, it might not be very safe to live there after 1975 (while retaining one's own way of life). Glad his parents got out and made it to the US so this kid could join up and serve in the same branch of the military that landed at Da Nang in 1965. History is weirdly circular.
