Anyone noticed i20 r tronic transmission jerking after restart (auto stoot/start feature? Its jerking every morning i switch from reverse to D. Feels like theres a minor problem with gearbox.

It should not become a problem. Let the engine idle for 1 minute before you drive away and change oil every 8.000km to 10.000km max. Best is every 7.000km or less if you can do it yourself. 4liter oil and a filter is not expensive.
@@aydingultekin2846 Hello, yes 3.5 liter with new oil filter and the oil level is exactly at max. I know this engine. I just said buying 4l as a figure of speech to show that oil is not very expensive. Thanks for your reply.
i have this cold start noise too on my i20 1.0 t-gdi 2017 model. pretty sure since it was new..not 100% sure tho.. always thought it was normal because it only lasts some seconds after startup and i also have a relative with that exact same engine and same sound on startup.. is it a 100% fault or what ? feels like its either normal or some really bad design flaw since it has been reported with so many different models with that engine..

@@fatallny Yes, I have the same sound on startup. A kind of rattle. You can hear it here: czcams.com/video/q8O6h1QrWHo/video.html And there is a rattle on 1800 to 2200 rpm when the engine is cold. P.S. I have the Ceed CD, MY 2019.
@@fatallny There is also a grinding sound when the engine is cold. But it seems to affect a lot of 1.0 tgdi engines. A lot of people have complained about this.

Nie jest to nic pilnego jak widać bo zdiagnozowali problem i oddali auto w ten sam dzień żebym mógł jeździć ale termin już mi zrobili

@@johny-rc7ze Jeżdżę nim cały czas. Pisałem do centrali, podawałem linki do tych postów i dostałem odpowiedź, że auto zostało sprawdzone i wszystko jest sprawne. Masz link do tego forum?
@@fatallny dodam jeszcze, że w Niemczech też ludzie to mają, i najlepsze jest to że zdania w ASO są podzielone, jednym mówią że nic się nie dzieje, a drugim wymieniają rozrządy i napinacze. Jest gościu który czeka na wymianę całego rozrządu ale dopiero za miesiąc ma termin bo czekają na części. Ja też miałem wymieniony, ale nie wiem czy aby nie tylko sam łańcuch. Muszę drugi raz się skontaktować z ASO niech coś z tym robią. @edit kolejny update. That rattle noise is called wastegate rattle. It is coming from turbocharger waste flap.

My Kia rio 2018 have the same noise rattle first I tought that my engine was broken
Same thing on TSI. Wear in pushing of flap control arm. They say it's not a problem.
All 1.0 t-gdi engines make this sound the first 30 seconds of a cold start up. Must be the chain tensioner I guess.
I have found out that this sound is not the chain tensioner, but the arm that controls the turbopressure on the turbo itself.
@@Pesar25 you can fix it with a spring. Put one end on the arm, the second part to the pin that holds the engine cover
Our 2019 Stonic 1.0 T-GDi 120hp makes the same sound on start-up since it was new. Never liked it but I think it's how it's suppose to sound.

On my Ford 1.0 mild hybrid is the same. Rattly on cold starts and quietens after a few seconds.
With this cold weather is more noisy.
I have a picanto gt turbo 2019 same engine it rattles on cold start nothing wouldnt worry. And i use 0w20 synthic oil.
after a while it stops like mine. I think it is a common issue.
