In this eye-opening discussion, Joe Rogan shares his personal experience with the power and benefits of cold exposure therapy, specifically his daily ritual of cold plunging. Despite the struggle and discomfort, Joe emphasizes the undeniable health benefits of using cold plunge tubs / ice baths and heightened mental clarity he experiences every day.
Ever wondered what it's like to jump into a freezing cold tub first thing in the morning? Rogan breaks it down for you, from the immediate shock to the exhilarating aftermath. He humorously reflects on how people would eagerly buy the benefits of cold exposure if they were packaged as easily accessible as a vape pen or a mint.
Joe dives deep into the topic, sharing his belief that the struggle, the perseverance, and the discomfort of cold exposure is what truly makes the process rewarding. He challenges his viewers to embrace the struggle, to persevere through discomfort, and see the growth that happens in the process.
If you value pinnacle cold exposure, then a cold plunge tub by BlueCube is the only way to go!
Had to listen to this in the morning before my 3 minute cold shower
Just brought a plunge tub today, looking forward to hitting it everyday!
Been cold showering for a couple of years now and in the UK winter the temp is generally about 5 degrees which is great. However by summer its easily hitting 10 which is not cold enough so been taking cold baths with a few kg of ice added but becomes like £8 each bath. Seriously considering investing in a tub and a separate chiller and filler as can just about get this for £1000. Would love one of theses but ain't got Rogan money, even though they actually will pay him 1000s just to mention their product.
I do a 10 minute ice bath everyday at temps between 8-10 C (46-50F). Great way to start off the day!
8 to 10 c is not an ice bath
@@rubenjacome8252😂
Do you live in a warm place?
@@rubenjacome8252can assure you it’s still super beneficial.
8 degrees is still super cold
I used to shower after my workout at Rockford College, and I did not know how to adjust the single shower handle, so I ended up taking 40⁰ showers. Man, I jumped into the nice warm pool water.
Can’t afford one of those machines, so after my little morning workout, I’ll do a final cold shower rinse (after my hot shower), then do an ice water face plunge. Feels great. Entire body??? Maybe someday?
How about boiling water plunges? Now THAT would really impress me.
😂
hahahaha
💙🥶i love cold plunge
I've been having cold showers exclusively for the past 7 years, unless I have a cold. I gotta say I hate the way warm showers make me feel.
“Unless I have a cold” 😂
Aren’t cold plunges supposed to build up your tolerance to cold?
I used to put my face in ice water every morning and it was amazing. I need to get back to that
I wonder if Rogan would be doing cold plunges every day if he lived in N. Minnesota or Montana and did not have a warm climate controlled room to get out into once finished with the ice bath. Pretty easy to cold plunge when you live in Texas or LA.
Those are just excuses, stupid one as well. Do you have warm house? There is your warm climate controlled room LOL
So lazy. Thanks to you, I am going to do my cold shower right now, because I dont want to be lazy guy who gives stupid excuses to not do stuff needed.
Its never easy to cold plunge.
Its subzero where I live - I still do a 3 minute cold shower. Havent tried the just above freezing stuff though
you sound scared and timid. low testosterone
What episode is this
many different episodes!
Crazy 2:50 those cost more than 10,000
I built my own setup for about 2k, lots of DIY guides out there now.
I do 15 mins everyday 🩵🥶
That's savage 👍🏻 I'm lead to believe that after 8 mins the benefits have hit there peak so you maybe wasting your time after that. However if you feel the best doing 15 then go and own them 15 mins every day. Respect to you. I max out at 8 haha.
My gym offer it but you have to pay £30/month and it has a sauna. I might give it a shot.
@Mr_Robbo_G For me 15 mins feels same as all the minutes beforehand as far as when your sitting in it. If I do less then 15 mins the feeling you get 20 mins after your out is way different then if I do less then 13 mins. So if I do 5 mins then I'm not cold when I get out and I warm up fast. If I do 13 , 15 up to 20 it takes me like 2.5 hrs to actually warm up and to stop shaking . Regardless cold 🥶 sux lol 😆
@Reknaw155 yes try for 1 month see if you like it. You should sleep better and its also is great for holding u accountable. As well as gives you energy. 🧊
Temp?
The drug would be ghb lol that is the drug that has the closest happy effect that a cold plunge has
I do this every day and i live in the uk, there is no sun on my face! Its hard to do teaches you not to be a pus sy
I just fill my bath tub up with cold water and throw some ice in there and let it sit for a while so it can get really cold. Fuck paying $10,000 for a cold plunge machine😂
Come cold plunge with us. How much time do you spend prepping you bath, getting ice? How much do you spend on ice? Some people value having commercial grade cold plunge available 24/7 for a plunge. Commercial clients are plunging 100 people per day back to back and it maintains temp.
Glad you are enjoying your experience!
I thought Joe Rogan was 20 minutes not 3... is 3 sufficient?
More than sufficient. For benefits you can do cold bath duration for 11 minutes a week. I do 5 minutes 5 times a week.
thanks for the great response!
I did that for 3 minutes up to my neck and i felt no rush of endorphins afterward.
Was the water 34 degrees, or did you empty 1 ice cube tray in your bathtub?
@@habibi750 if it wasn’t 34 it was 33 or 32. It was just loads of ice mixed with some water
@@habibi750 from my understanding the water only has to be cold enough that you do not want to be in there at all. I just run cold water into a bath currently which is usually around 7 degrees and I still feel like there's lightning in my veins for hours afterwards.
Is there something special about the 34 degrees I am not aware of?
@@BigDavey2Chainz From my understanding, to reap the benefits of a cold plunge, the water must be 34 degrees +/-
Bullshit it has no benefits
Why are you here?
Good to be skeptical. You ought to try it yourself!
I cannot stand that guy. I’m not Joe Rogan
Huh
What
One of the comments of all time
you are a coward that enjoys being one
I hate you! What’s outside
3 minutes? I do 45 minutes in my cryogenic vault then go to work at the ball crushing factory
