Ive got both the 29in and the 48in. I love em. They’re great for prying weird angles, use em for a long reach, great for pulling/installing cylinders, etc. I’ve seen people pull seals with them and heard they’re great for installing tires (guy in a truck shop told me). Can’t recommend them enough.
Homedepot does sell a construction style indexing pry bar by crescent, i believe it's only 16" and don't cary any other sizes. Kinda limited by its length but does have 2 spots dedicated for hammer hitting, at the end of the handle and on the opposite side of the hook.
The articulating head is Handy there's always times when muscling around suspension and Etc where you never really have the angle you want on the pry bar

I have a hard time believing an adjustable pry bar will hold up in extreme use situations. Maybe I'll go into a store and throw one around until security asks me to leave 😂
@@thinshadow551 , we have a set of clamps at work that are controlled hydraulically and we use a pry bar to make sure they are holding correctly. The problem I have is knowing how much someone is prying. I came up an adapter that I could put on a torque wrench to achieve what I was needing. It took about 5 different designs but we finally came up with the perfect adapter for this application. We have since used this same concept in other applications where pry bars were used with undefined forces. Not sure if this is my million dollar idea but it’s come in very handy at work.

Yes these indexable pry bars are really pretty nice they are just not quite as strong as a plain solid steel bar and it's something to keep in mind.

Does someone make a pry bar torque wrench? If you want to pry on something with a specific amount of force using something similar to a torque wrench.
