You're exactly right. It is not for the faint-hearted. I have taken abuse multiple times in the past 5 years as a PI but fortunately also have copiers who are quick to defend. There are 2 main things that have helped with that journey though: 1. If the people hurling abuse could do it better then they are welcome to try 2. Having been part of various gaming communities for over 20 years, there's nothing someone on eToro can say that would scratch the top 100 of the offensive things I've been called in the past 😅 At the end of the day, you need to seperate your emotions not only in your trades but also in your interactions.
:) the gaming community can be pretty harsh indeed! And yeah, I guess developing a thicker skin is a matter of exposure sometimes too. Point 1 really is the essence of the answer isn't it.
Thom what worries me is that... you are getting younger? Maybe its Maltan climate serves you well. Here in the UK I dont remember last time it was warm. Probably August last year. Take care!

It's why all we've got is the metrics eh... Are we happy with the reward and is it worth it for the risk... Could we get a better risk-adjusted return elsewhere? On the Popular Investor side of things, there's a real community-pressure there which I think most people underestimate.
