Personally I use: Swampert. (The starter & Mega) Talonflame. (Early game bird & good fire typing despite being 4x weak to rock) Luxray. (Ampharos is better but I can't get over my bias lol) Sylveon (Good for Bulky dragon types & Tess) Vileplume. (Good for fairy types) & Aegislash. (The false swiper of the team)
infrared, i thought of a better fire type than houndoom without mega evolution, which is arcanine: arcanine is a good fire type as well, fire stone isnt that expensive + it has a decent movepool, alongside its 555 bst with insane attack and speed, while providing better bulk and 1 less weakness. you can get it at route 10, and the moves usually used is: fire fang/flare blitz / crunch / t-fang / e-speed (all from level up), and if somehow you can start breeding, close combat is a high bp move which is breeded with zangoose (learnt at lvl 50). it also has intimidate which lowers the targets attack, or flash fire which makes it immune to fire types
The Dark typing makes Houndoom much more valuable than Arcanine, and Houndoom gets access to setup that Arcanine doesn’t get in Nasty Plot. It’s speed is the exact same as Houndoom’s, and having to keep Growlithe unevolved until around level 50 is MUCH worse than keep Floette unevolved until level 46. Arcanine would be pretty useless after the 6th gym, while Houndoom would storm through Team Eclipse’s and the 8th gym’s ghost types.
@@InfraredGod i mean, houndoom cant outspeed the 8th gym’s gengar, which might lead gengar to one shot houndoom with a single focus blast. however, gengar has destiny bond which might let houndoom setup. moreover, mismagius has the move dazzling gleam, and again, outspeeds houndoom, which might lead to mismagius being able to ohko houndoom, after chip damage from the other pokemon
additionally, you could just purchase and find rare candies to level growlithe, and it's quite easy to level with the eeveelutions trainer in cragonos mines
You could easily go scald on swampert as it has the same power and accuracy as waterfall just burn instead of flinch, aswell as replacing brick break for hammer arm, which would be trading 10% of the accuracy for an extra 25 power 👌
Hammer arm will make it slower and I know swampert is already slow,you would run it with a rain team for pvp so brick break is better without a big disadvantage
I used Gardevoir, it has Calm Mind, 80 speed which is decent, and GREAT Special Attack and Special Defense Defense and HP isn’t great tho But you kinda need the Psychic TM from arcade, Moonblast which is a late move and the Mega is locked behind BP
You mean rock smash? You can use Rock Type pokemon for Rock Smash. Most of the normal types on Route 1 use cut, but you don’t want HMs on your final team.
I want to say my opinion about perfect pokemon for each gym Best pokemon to catch early:Marill(ok let me explain, You can catch marill at route 4 and route 7 and it doesn't have that low chance of encounter,it have good typing, evolve pretty early (lv 18) and gets stab pretty early, pretty helpful against fire,water, flying, ground,dark and kinda for ghost (just to hit mega sableye)) Electric gym:i'd say any electric type you can find or if you really depressed for ground type then nincada(but it will take big amount of time) Fire gym:a lot of good choices like numel or rhyhorn, slugma and ponyta(with flash fire)can also work Water gym: any water type just to resist hits or bellsprout and oddish route 8 Flying gym: aegaslash if you lucky,or aerodactyl from fossil or something that can resist fight type (don't even think about rock or steel type they all have coverage for this) Grass:i'd say try to get any flying type(because 2 pokemon in his team 4x weak to it) and it also help against mega venusaur Ground gym:any water type or grass type(better try to find that pokemon which can learn at least 1 ice move like gyardos) Dark:any fighting type or fairy(you can catch clefairy at route 14 and then evolve it) Ghost:it kinda easy gym just get any dark type and you will complete it
I mean, technically this team either replaces or fills in the spots you put, so ig that means I did a good job. You're kinda right tho, as if you don't have a water starter, you'll need Azumarill for 2nd gym.

Im playing brick bronze as we speak and this is the team im currently using Wartortle, Beedril and a HM User I plan on getting a Girafarig in the Savannah Route but I need more members, do you have any other alternatives (Im not going back to previous routes to catch a pokemon to add onto my team because that would be a waste of my time having to level it up)
Don't get Psychic types, they don't amount to much. Route 4 is right next to Route 5 (the Savannah), so it wouldn't take much to get Mareep there. I assume you're at the first gym or you passed it, so you can get Nincada on route 3 if you need a ground type.

I decided to use this team to run through the storyline of pbf, and it works really well! The only thing I changed was Florges’ grass knot, which I replaced with Energy Ball at the Move Tutor
I hardcore nuzlocked shining silver one time and Mudkip isn't the best. It's because later on u can get better water types like Huge power Azumarill, Milotic( if ur playing on dupe clause), Gyarados and more. So the best one is bulbasaur, with bulbasaur u get leech seed very early and u can get lightning rod electrike for the 1st gym. If you worry about 2nd gym then u can get huge power marill right after 1st gym. The 2nd gym leader's magmar is scary so I suggest getting flash fire heatmor and stall it with fire spin. And on that point afterwards everything gets easier. I suggest replacing ur fly pokemon with salamence (after 4th gym) and replace ur electric type with magnezone. Magnezone has alot of resistances. And salamence deals huge and it can even tank physical hits cuz of intimadate, mence also gets earthquake for coverage against rock and electric. It requires ALOT of grinding but it's worth it 👍
Yeah, this team was made so that you WOULDN'T have to grind so much. Mudkip makes this very easy early and mid-game, and by the time you won't use it, you'll have a full team at your disposal. Maybe Mudkip ain't the best for a HARDCORE nuzlocke, but most players aren't going to attempt one.

i have played this game alot and i mean alot like over 50 different playthroughs to atleast the 6th gym and ima be honest you could make a way better team then this i would do something like Swampert, Chandelure, Shaymin/rosarade, Bagon/Togekiss, Mega Lucario/Mega Medicham/Gallade, Tyranitar/Meowstic/Golurk
mega manectric is really good if u have thunderbolt volt switch hidden power(ice) and flamethrower u just need pokemon to counter its weaknesses like mandibuzz and amoongus they are great pokemon with good defence. even if a pokemon uses an earth move mandibuzz i flying and can tank rock slide with more then half hp if u ev train its defence and hp. manetctric can be a troll pokemon that uses volt switch alot. but ampharos is great tho but i prefer manectric
Infrared my team is, Swampert, Staraptor, Arcanine, Diancie, Heracross, Magnezone. U are probably wondering, why the heck are you adding a legendary to your team, well 1st because im not the guy who listens to other people and also because i barely see people have diancie so i chose it
Also i changed ur team and added, Arcanine Heracross and Magnezone. I added Arcanine cause its just good for story and also battles and i chose magnezone for a good reason, since it learns lock on AND zap cannon which does a ton of damage and also paralysis
And last thing, i chose heracross cause 1, NO ONE uses it and i never see it in battle so i wana change that cause i dont want pokemon to just show up for no reason and also cause i get lucario WAY too much and need another fighting type so yeah thats why i chose this team

Your team seems to focused on countering Fighting, and you lack a Dark counter. I would replace Metagross with Lucario, and you don't need 2 flying types.

Luxray is mostly up against Special attacking Water types, so Intimidate only works well in the 4th gym, and it's neither bulky nor fast. It's movepool is also pretty limiting.

L houndoom take. It'll take you like a whole day of re-matching trainers to get him to a level he can beat the grass gym. Get an arcanine instead so that he'll actually be at the appropriate level by the time you get to grass gym
Growlithe would stay unevolved for much longer than necessary, and won’t be helpful after the 6th gym. Houndoom actually helps for the 8th gym as well.

you don't really need fire types for PBB, the only advantage they have is over the grass gym and a few of Jake's Pokemon.
Infernape gets destroyed by gyms 3-5, way too many weaknesses.

Staraptor and ninjask are the best flying types since they're both early kinda.

I prefer waterfall but surf is a good option too but note swampert has a higher attack then sp atk hence why waterfall is better then surf

i have played this game alot and i mean alot like over 50 different playthroughs to atleast the 6th gym and ima be honest you could make a way better team then this i would do something like Swampert, Chandelure, Shaymin/rosarade, Bagon/Togekiss, Mega Lucario/Mega Medicham/Gallade, Tyranitar/Meowstic/Golurk
This is for Adventure, assuming you wont grind for super rare pokemon or BP TMs.

My team is swampert houndoom florges staraptor lucario and magnezone but should I change staraptor to noivern
dont do that, noibat takes forever to evolve. I put Ampha instead of zone because you get zone too late for him to be useful
what happens if you evolve the florges after level 46?
I mean you could learn more of Floette’s moves, but it’s pretty unnecessary.

mega manectric is really good if u have thunderbolt volt switch hidden power(ice) and flamethrower u just need pokemon to counter its weaknesses like mandibuzz and amoongus they are great pokemon with good defence. even if a pokemon uses an earth move mandibuzz i flying and can tank rock slide with more then half hp if u ev train its defence and hp. manetctric can be a troll pokemon that uses volt switch alot. but ampharos is great tho but i prefer manectric
Volt Switch and Flamethrower are 90 BP each. The mega I put for this team was Lucario.

Infrared my team is, Swampert, Staraptor, Arcanine, Diancie, Heracross, Magnezone. U are probably wondering, why the heck are you adding a legendary to your team, well 1st because im not the guy who listens to other people and also because i barely see people have diancie so i chose it
Also i changed ur team and added, Arcanine Heracross and Magnezone. I added Arcanine cause its just good for story and also battles and i chose magnezone for a good reason, since it learns lock on AND zap cannon which does a ton of damage and also paralysis
And last thing, i chose heracross cause 1, NO ONE uses it and i never see it in battle so i wana change that cause i dont want pokemon to just show up for no reason and also cause i get lucario WAY too much and need another fighting type so yeah thats why i chose this team

Your team seems to focused on countering Fighting, and you lack a Dark counter. I would replace Metagross with Lucario, and you don't need 2 flying types.

In my opinion luxray is much better his intimidate and typing is insane just spam switchibg lux with staraptor and ur oponent cant even harm you
rotom is better than ampharos for 4th gym.
And also we forgot luxray over ampharos and manetric
Then again at the end of the day some of this is just my opinion
Luxray is mostly up against Special attacking Water types, so Intimidate only works well in the 4th gym, and it's neither bulky nor fast. It's movepool is also pretty limiting.

L houndoom take. It'll take you like a whole day of re-matching trainers to get him to a level he can beat the grass gym. Get an arcanine instead so that he'll actually be at the appropriate level by the time you get to grass gym
Growlithe would stay unevolved for much longer than necessary, and won’t be helpful after the 6th gym. Houndoom actually helps for the 8th gym as well.
