I'm honestly shocked at so many comments saying the reporter was wrong and should of left her alone. I can't believe ppl see her as the victim. Yes her daughter was murdered but she didn't care enough about her daughter to even take the stand in the trial against the man that killed her. She refused to the point that even the judge put her in jail for contempt of court. If someone (God forbid) killed one of my children they wouldn't be able to stop me from taking the stand and confronting the person that did it. Hell they would need all kinds of security to hold me back from hurting/killing him or her. Regardless of her being asleep and nor knowing for sure what happened, she should of taken the stand and told everything she did know. I don't know how much she was involved but it sure seems very suspicious that she wouldn't cooperate esp to the point of going to jail over testifying.

It was not sleep or a sleeping pill. An x junkie can spot another junkie a mile away & it was opiate/heroin or xanax not sleeping pills. She was an addict and the murder was probably on a stimulate like maybe Coke or meth. He had drugs and easy access to her drug of choice and things unfortunately unfolded from there. I don't gamble but I'd bet everything I'm basically right on the money.
She didn't want the world to know what she did as an addict and the role she played in the deth of her daughter as well as the possibility of her addiction being so bad she would lie in exchange for drugs.
Drugs like opiates become your life and the only thing you care about. You become a shell of your former self and sometimes you forget and abandon who you used to be. It's a sad truth and one I barely escaped from and it's so powerful that me 1 year clean if given a clean needle, heroin, and privacy od use again. And I was always the most stubborn and strongest willed person I ever met. So yea it's drugs
