This a a dope video can make a video on how you printed in abelton because I’m trying to figure out how you did that
✨🎙️The way to record decent rap-vocals is to focus on proper microphone technique, a suitable recording environment, and efficient editing techniques. Firstly, invest in a good-quality microphone, such as a condenser or dynamic mic, and position it 6-8 inches away from your mouth, slightly off-axis to minimize plosive sounds. Ensure the recording space is acoustically treated, using absorption panels or DIY solutions to reduce echo and reverberation. Next, set your recording software to a suitable sample rate (44.1 kHz or higher) and bit depth (24-bit or higher). Record in a lossless format, such as WAV or AIFF, to preserve audio quality. When tracking, aim for a moderate to high gain, peaking around -6 to -3 dB, to capture a clear and strong signal. Use a pop filter or windscreen to reduce plosive sounds and mouth noises. During editing, focus on cleaning up your performance by removing unwanted breaths, mouth noises, and mistakes. Use a gentle compression ratio (3:1 to 6:1) to even out your dynamics, and subtle EQ adjustments to enhance clarity and presence. Finally, add a touch of subtle reverb or delay to enhance the sense of space and depth in your track. By following these guidelines, you'll be well on your way to recording professional-sounding rap vocals; on the dead guys✨🎙️
Well Said!
The take with the compression is fuxking dope as hell broooo, smooth and clearrrrrr🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
You used to have some unboxing videos of various mics. All good choices . But I been waiting years for a fire headphone video to tell us of some good choices and how to use them for mixing 😭
I don’t know where to look any recommendations?
Tube mics are the best
Warmer vocals
been looking at this mic a lot lately
It’s a good one, better than I expected it to be. I could see it being clutch for multi purpose recording
Drake also uses this mic I believe alongside the MA-1000.
Meanwhile there are some people complaining about the price and don’t realize that famous artists pay for quality and don’t use $39 mics
Wasn’t too sure what to expect from it but I like the sound for sure
i was thinking bout getting a song c100. . any thought on that mic ?
The people I know that have it love it
Sounds clean. Sound even better if you let them warm up for a little
Gonna break it in soon , had to test it out. I usually let it sit overnight to get the tube some hours in
@@SKYJORDXN I used the warm audio wa-8000. Mic is dope. I’m good with my tlm-102 tho
@HeavyWeightBeats85 Neumann makes great mics at all the price points can’t really go wrong. But I’m hooked on the tube mics for being the go tos cuz this my 3rd one
So I got a Neumann u87. You think I could get a warmer signal with this?
@charleeparkerxo tube mics have warmer sounds because of the tube in the microphone
🔥
What daw you prefer recording vocals on? I be using pro tools. But I just grabbed fl studio couple weeks ago to start making beats
Pro tools but it really depends on what I click on first some days
An alternative to the TLM 103
102 is better than 103 imo
way better than the 103 and also sits better with just a 16k boost
Damn that sounds good as hell
I gotta find a go to tracking chain for it
You like any of the Lewitt mics? Seems like they trying to make that 440 the new nt1a
Bro what area you located? I’m tryna link with some creators and cook
AtL
FIRST!!!
why you not dropping a album i think many will be support you
I might do one idk , I don’t really wanna be a rapper fr
Why this over the Tlm 103 ??
Me personally, I like tube mics for the warmer sound that goes into the daw with the vocals. But the 103 is cool nothing against it.
Bro can I get the neve without owning an Apollo?
the only way is to go through uad spark subscription for the native one
this or Lauten Audio Clarion
I haven’t tried the clarion yet, one of the ones missing from my Lauten audio collection
Try recording in a car
i can do that
My very first recorded songs are me recording in my car. I was so proud of how it came out, but now that I have a better setup I know it's not the move lmao
@@SKYJORDXNyou record through a noise gate?
@@SKYJORDXNthat’s amazing the quality vocals you be putting down without literally no acoustic treatment whatsoever. What’s your recipe and what’s your take on that?
@xavierreid9995 ill try to explain it in a video
Cleeeaaann
The price
quality mics aren’t cheap and this is relatively cheap for people who invest into their setups because there’s artists who’ve spent $4K on mics alone.
@@SKYJORDXN you’re right man, I’m a “broke” artist, I’m also a producer. Is there a way I can pitch custom beats to artists in your community? At insanely discounted rate of course. That way we go, and I can save for high quality gears 👀
That price tho lol
That’s not exactly expensive though
@@alextumayisaclone then what is expensive
In the conversation of quality mics no but
A lot of this content is marketed to beginners
I’m sure it’s a great mic
Not knocking it
@@sungexpression9093not marketed to beginners at all. He uses a $5000 mic in most of the videos and uses plugins that aren’t cheap. There’s signed artists that watch him not just beginners don’t be salty
@@sungexpression9093you’re cheap 😂 it’s only $1500 . Ya’ll be wanting the industry mics for $300
If it’s too high then you’re not the target demo and that’s okay. The mic is relatively cheap compared to a U87 or C800
What is the name of the mic 😢
1:02 and check the description he always puts the mic in the video in the description
MojaveMA-300
Look at the price of course it sounds good
You know that’s not that high right 😂 what might be high for you isn’t for others
If you want pro sounds you pay for better quality and there’s mics that cost 3k to 20K so this is cheap
To put things in perspective the industry mic that everyone uses costs $10,000
Higher price means it just takes less to make it sound good, the room or booth is the first foundation to good vocals
@@Sniper_T_2x this is what Ive just learned an you’ve confirmed thanks
