    Nowadays there are lots of people saying Aikido doesn't work . Some people have been doing it too soft . It's really pretty brutal and involves a lot of atemi , striking hard . Body techniques like this are called tai jutsu and were developed during centuries of warfare in Japan . If you learn the proper stuff it works . This video shows it and some few people do learn to kill using Aikido techniques although Aikido is about not killing .

    Que hermoso! Llevarlo a ese punto son años de prácticas de las mismas técnicas hasta el hartazgo, muy buena lección del arte que no invita al combate, sino lo contrario, lo evita de una manera tan fantástica que cuesta creerlo a primera vista.

    Kudos to that uke. Those were some fast techniques and that was not a padded floor.
    99% of the time it's easy to find holes and to scrutinize aikido and its techniques. The obvious challenge you could present here is that the instructor knows all of the attacks that are coming (not a big deal, this is a demonstration). With most schools, this is the case along with a litany of other issues. I'd like to see a demo of these guys pressure testing techniques.
    That said, the techniques looked pretty powerful. Cool exhibition.

    • @jankostojanovic1653
      @jankostojanovic1653 Před 5 lety

      This is more jiu jitsu ,and aikido is useless in a real fight, against some average joe ,maybe ,but try this against a wrestler , Jiu-Jitsu guy ,judo or boxer and you are going to get fucked up.Just imagine if you try this kind of grab on a judo guy or wrestler,damn son ,you would be flying to the stars.Thats why theese aikido instructors need you to do nothing , because in real fight you would never manage to do this.

    Amazing skills, maybe the more proper title is 'real combat aikido' not real aikido, since this is applicative aikido instead of mainstream aikido. The way you present these techniques, you look more displaying jujutsu or shorinji kempo that have shorter and concise techniques than aikido that has more circular movements.
    Anyways, your speed and practicality is just superb. Great respect

    • @BringItOnYFD
      @BringItOnYFD Před 9 lety +4

      Actually it's called "Real Aikido". They don't mean to say that it's the true Aikido but more like Aikido specialized in a real scenario (just like you described 'real combat aikido'). They got a whole concept behind that. To get a good idea, maybe Wikipedia could be useful: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Real_Aikido

    Very good display of technique. Real or normal or combat aikido as many remarks here. Arts of death when used properly and instantaneous. Trying to keep the enemy alive is the challenge.
    You can see here on this display that the enemy arm could have been easy to remove on every defense. The reason aikido is taught to look safe? That is why. Killing is just too easy.
