      @@Etaoinshrdlu69 Snakes are the least of your worries in Hawaii. There is only one venomous snake around Hawaii and that is the yellow-bellied sea snake which you would only encounter in the sea and that is very unlikely.

      Jesus Christ. Tell this idot that he doesn't need to go into these rtrded caves. It's nice to see but it isn't worth the guy's life. Hope he doesn't earn a Darwin award. What if the lava starts flowing again? Or earthquake? Countless other examples.

    Lava stalactites is the correct word. Interesting enough even the moon has lava tubes.. except they are lunar lava tubes.

    Nice I've been there It's great I reccommend a few food places, Ken's House of Pancakes, Sombats, Jacky rays, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Kosmic Cones, If you like milk tea and boba you should go to big island pearl tea, A diner called don's Grill

    Really enjoying the Hawaii stuff, theres so much to see off the path there apparently, its easy to forget the Luaus, Pig roasts, and miles of packed beaches and hotels lol happy new year!

    Fascinating and unusual formations of the lava as it solidified. I like exploring caves etc but watching you going further into the lava tube made me feel claustrophobic. Thanks for sharing!

    If you look at the black charcoal like lava rocks, you’ll see little green flecks and stones. They are peridot, which are the birthstone for August babies!! My nephew and I love to look for lava rocks and pick out the peridot.

    Looks a little more comfortable to explore than the Mount St. Helens tubes 😄
    🌋 Word of caution when exploring the lava tubes: When you come to the door, do not open! The liquid hot magma pool is right behind it. 🌋

    Some incredible formations that transform from rippling to what looks like ore car rails. Truly spectacular. Can see why the ancients would think these were the tunnels to the underworld.

    Amazing Chris! Havent seen any bugs, 🐍 snakes or small animals anywhere. Have you seen any? Some of that smooth lava looks like melted candy bars lol.

    Awesome footage...I'm not good at Spelunking....i made it all the way thru Oregon Caves in S Oregon, but 2nd time, I began to panic,...couldn't continue on...guess was being in total darkness, when they had everyone turn off their flashlights...it really got to me...mad at self, but I can't help it. I'm okay with the Ape Caves in Washington, but
    there's light at each end and large cavernous openings...always 45* temps even in icy or hot weather. I'm sure after Mt St Helens erupted, there's a lot more of these lava tubes, waiting to be discovered....seeing the billions of trees damaged, floating on the lake is something one must see with their own eyes...describing in real life, doesn't begin to capture the "grandness" of it all.

    This is a really cool video. Would love to see a hard hat on ya in these situations though. Especially in a lava tube. Hitting the ol noggin on razor sharp volcanic glass (or any cave rock) is no joke.

    Quickly looked online and some of the lava tubes in Hawaii supposedly are over 40 miles long. I can’t say how accurate that is but…

    Absolutely amazing and terrifying to know what mother nature can do. Do you know if lava would ever flow in that direction (underground) again? You know that if some of the ceiling has already collapsed it could possibly collapse the whole thing 😲 What a bummer 😕
