how did it serve you?
I have 320D m47, 450 000km, still beats the most of new cars by drivebility😂 never opened the engine, just simple typical gasket and injector seal and clutch "service" has been made😊😂
330i owner here, lovely car...fast, power delivery is smooth and really.....
How could you ever get bored of hearing the Straight Six engine? Boss car!
Want to buy a 2006 E90 330i, with 142k miles for daily driving. any reason why I should walk away ?
+Lanre Oladejo fuel consumption isn't good, 19 to the gallon I get and potentially high repair bills if anything goes wrong. The good far outweighs the bad for me on these cars though.
I have a 330i N52 and had it for 2 years with not one repair. 44mpg on the motorway with UK fuel!
Mine is the 330d (2006). Great torque & economy.
You’d get bored because it’s missing the turbo. Go get a god damn 335i. 100000x better

I watched this video over and over in late 2007 early 2008.
And ordered one in February 2008.
After having it for almost a year now, all I can say is... I definitely think its a special car. I love it. It drives like nothing else.
I was comparing it with Audi and Lexus. If I had wanted more distinguished interior and confortable ride I might have gone to Audi, if I had wanted a high tech looking interior I would have taken a Lexus.
But I'm a Driver kind of driver :o)

I have 320d aswell and it has nearly 500000km's and it still brings smile on my face
I've just brought an E90 320d auto, one owner, low miles, fully loaded....and I adore it! Swopped a decent 118d for it, and amazed it feels as agile as the 1, yet lots more comfort! Have driven a few cars in recent years, and am amazed by BMWs. Wonderful steering, great balance. And I am not driving the latest generation, which have more go and use less fuel! Surely the best cars in the world?

Andrei K agree yesterday i was with my father cruising at the autobahn 160 km/h. Very quiet.Such a nice car.

what he said about the ability to cover so many miles and not get tired is very true...
i did about 900miles in my passat with one short stop to get some food and then had a full night out in berlin with lots of walks around city and still wasnt tired...
i go to bed and dream about E90s. I'll never forget the first day I rode in one. 13 Feb 2012, it was Peter Gabriel's birthday. LOL

wow , this is really a great review ,, very imformative and true to the every words ,, i thinking of buying an infiniti g37 but now that i see this review i gonna consider 3 series as my top option now ,,,,,,,,,, this review should be an example on how to review all other cars

325i, it is graphite grey and it suites my every need and want for being a everyday car. It really hits the spot.
coming from an 06 buyer, yes, they are great, dependible, and funny cars. I bought mine in 06 and I have never looked back.

330i owner here. With manual transmission a pleasure to drive and not even too thirsty (~36 mpg). Not suitable for city driving, though. This car wants to run and enjoy open rural roads or the autobahn.
Chap driving the car is Jason Plato 2001 & 2010 BTCC winner. Maybe he knows something about diesel that we don't other than its smelly, oily and you don't really want it on your steering wheel.
They are very good, I have the 335d and its so well put together on many aspects, hence why BMW sell so many of them.
your right, I got my numbers mixed up. It is a great car, you won't be disappointed.
Top gear FTW. They can take a test like this and turn it into a hilarious adventure.
I wish we got more diesel powered cars here in Canada, at least for now it's a hell lot better than a hybrid.

theres a bit where you can see the speedo. straight up is 80 and he's way past that. and when he said "we found a shortcut", what he meant is that "i was speeding so much i couldn't reveal the actual speed"
You can hate him as much as you want, though he is one of the best touring cars driver...

i just got this car in 318d sport with all the bits and was worried it would be crap drive wise..but it actually is alot better then i thought it would be...120mph feels like nothin on it and its very comfortable...oh and carbon black is actually blue:S

@themadplotter that's my point. In the US we say miles per hour. In the UK for the most part it's kmph.
@krunal467 Any BMW can have wood trim instead of aluminum. It's an option you select when you purchase a new one.
@ForgottenCavalry Because it's a diesel. If you get in on your hands it can smell for ages, very hard to wash off. It doesn't evaporate in the same way petrol does. Plus, it can cause some people irritation.
All this banter about this !!! Best car ever made.!! I own a 320i m sport and love it and drives spot on !! If you want a ultimate driving machine then bmws are your answer mainly 3 series And 5 series and the 6 and x5 of course
@kattlikzm I have the new LCI and when i refuel it says ~1200 km if i do a 5L/100KM run its a 318d.. but its the same 2 liter diesel enging thats powering the 320d

I have in rain and snow. It does great and if you buy it new the service is awesome and you pay for NOTHING other than your state inspection for 5 years or 40000 miles. They cover everything.

i am driving a 320 1998 series and am dying to update to the newer series. but when i took it for a test drive i found the car i drove didnt have the 'kick' i was after. is this just the car i drove or do others find this?

I also do have a 320d its a six speed auto and I average out 49mpg on the moterway at the speed of 85mph.
@Bulgdoom I think that was the AC blowing really hard...because i own an identical one and it really does not have much wind noise , at least not under 200kph(120 mph) .

@Legopocolypse we don't have them in my country as well but i would appreaciate them tho... diesel fuel always gets on your hands somehow since it's oilier than petrol.. almost always stinking hands unless it's a new petrol station

Yes but in this case, the diesel goes form the pump into the car. there shouldn't be any on the handle. I wouldn't want to touch a handle with gas on it either

Great cars. I have an E91 320D with 197k on it, and an E90 330i with 85k.
Same here, 42-43 average, he must have been trashing it alot. I have seen some 320d with pretty low average mpg displaying on board, must mean it's been also driven REALLY hard.

I do this trip every year 2 times a year in my bmw 7 the roads are so smooth i guess iff you got belguim highway all the way to madrid you will die or suffer of a back that broke in 10 pieces

i drive from Calais to al grave south Portugal i did 1420 miles in 26 hours trip i didn't stop just for fuel and some to eat and lot of red bull in a 270 CDI Mercedes
4:55 He doesn't "condole" breaking the speed limit, which is fortunate seeing as the word doesn't exist. Good cars though. Six cylinder petrol is nicer but 320d is a sensible choice - if one has to be sensible I suppose.

@kattlikzm If you can afford it, do it.. i wanted the sport edition and got a nice price, so i went with the 318d, the 320d is packing a bit more power so go for it :)
