- 060724 - We stop by Beetle Helmet in HB to check up on Sam and the gang when we see Lou (the owner of Beetle) working on his Honda. Lou gives us a bit of background on how and why the Honda CB's were so popular growing up back in Japan. Sam helps Ervin out with his bike and we head to Fuji's Famous for lunch and end up talking about best/worst fast food French Fries. We grab some hardware with Bear on the way home and call it a day.

Awesome video and awesome content Thank’s
Man,,, I'm digging the wheels!,, Beetle is it !,, and I'm super hungry about now!,,,👍👍🥃🥃
Ayyeeee I was waiting to see the clothes pin choke in the vids, bro that just made my day!
All those front wheels look cool Az!💯👌Ervins drag pipes make the mean bark when he throttles off❤️🔥Like listening to his bike on the vidz!…Another banger brother!🙌🔥😎
The shop owner (name?) was on point. We all desire to own what we couldn't afford in our youth. Only by the time we are old enough to afford the bike of our dreams the body has a few things to say about it. 😂
Lou! The owner of Beetle Helmets’ name is Lou! Such a great guy!
My brother had a 1976 cb350 four. It was really cool.
Man… the CBX is a great powerful 1 liter bike. I’ve seen a stock one at the Honda museum in Torrance. Definitely a Honda relic.
Cafe racer dude here from your moto beach classic video.
CBX is one of if not the greatest Japanese bike ever made. 6 cylinder with 6 carburetors. Dual over head cam with a 9,000 rpm redline. They’re famous for imitating a f1 car when fitted with a 6 into 1 header. In 1978 it was the world’s fastest production bike. They only made them from 79-82.
We should link up at this years moto beach classic. I heard a rumor that a CBX might show up this year.
Watching movies as a kid in the 80's I can fully understand Ervin's fear of gas tankers exploding. 😀
EXACTLY!!!!
Before I bought my CB750K back in the day, i tested out a 750F. I nearly pooped my chute at the extra power. Ervine vs tankers is a little weird, & funny. Wheels look great imho
This is not an add, and I'm not sponsored but I use McFadden-Dale in Anaheim for all my stainless bolt... You're right, it's the little details. 🤘🏽
That place has EVERYTHING!! Just a little bit of a mob but worth it, they literally have the best inventory!
greetings from the Philippines!
Lifehack for those bolts - put them on a drill +sand paper 1200 grit+ mothers =polish
@@unlimited408mike yeah but he parks outside and it continues to oxidize and rust
If you tighten the round, knurled part of the choke knob, the choke will stay pulled out. If that makes sense. It’s in the service manual🤙🏼
Already tried, this thing is beyond worn out and won’t stick anymore even when trying to turn it! 😭
@@Unaffiliated Ahhhh gotcha
How has no one said Del Taco fries. Soooooo good. Del Taco is one of the reasons I moved back to the west coast. No lie….make a man change his residence.
Damn, might have to go try those this week!!
you guys are the " billett wheel gang" now
All three of you guys using wideglides , 39mm 6 overs ?
Ervin still runs a narrow glide.
3 spoke sporty runs a 12” over 41mm wide glide, Bear’s Softail is running a 6” over 41mm wide glide, Ervin js running an 11” over 39mm narrow glide (6” over fork tubes with 5” fork extensions)
I’m old school so to me it’s YOUGLY
McDonald’s fries are good cause they put sugar on them haha but I think the habit got fire fries with the boom sauce 22:00
I build a hardtail cb550 in the 1990's,you can tell Harleys are plentiful in America because unlike here in the uk your not so knowledgeable on Japanese bikes
Hotboi wheels lol
