Nah, my childhood is still shattered, thanks to his accuser taking away the memories that I had growing up watching him since the Amanda show. It's disgusting how much support she has received in the past couple of years because she simply claimed that she was sexually assaulted by this man, when in reality she was only upset over the fact that he had ignored and blocked her on Instagram after finding her out about her age. I want to believe he’s innocent and I would, if this were a one time accusation. But did we forget that three of his ex girlfriends came out to say that he abused them? The exes promised to get a lawyer but they didn't. Why? If I'm not wrong they wanted to go to court but it still didn't happen 5. Melissa deleted all her abuse accusations videos. Why delete this if everyone believed you and supported? She even deleted some other controversial tiktoks, for example the one where she was making fun of kidnapping people (I don't remember very well) and people in comments were confused: "you said Drake abused you so he's a bad person but now you say you want to kidnap people? I think you're a bad person🧐" 6. Drake said that a few years ago Melissa asked him for a financial support which he provided. Why try to contact a person who treated you so bad and it took you 5 years to heal from that "nightmare"? 7. She also didn't mind to keep photo albums with their old pictures for so many years and even showed them on Tiktok, why would you keep photos of a person who threw you down the stairs?

The complication comes from the fact that the texts were sexual in nature and he was married, so that's at least one lie on his part (which he is open about now that's he was caught). There's no evidence for the nudes that the girl claimed, so that's at least one lie on her part. It's hard to know the truth when one person is lying and claiming the other one is lying.

I don’t know if he is innocent or not but the entire story is actually very typical and important for people to realize. A lot of SAers were victims themselves as children and it is a cycle that perpetuates itself often. That’s why it’s important to talk about it and obviously the goal is to prevent it but allowing victims to feel that they can speak up can be important to them getting the help they need so that they don’t perpetuate this cycle

I do think the only stupid thing he did in this situation was he blocked the girl instead of apologizing for not knowing her age and asking to just not contact each other anymore. James Franco had a similar incident and that's what he did, even talked on Live with Kelly and Michael about it once.

I want to believe he’s innocent and I would, if this were a one time accusation. But did we forget that three of his ex girlfriends came out to say that he abused them? What about accusations from Jimi/Melissa, Paydn, and I believe Jordan(?)(forgot her name, but they dated from 1999-2006). Not to mention the other girls that came to Jimi about their problems with Drake once she came out with her TikTok video. They’ve all said some pretty damning stuff and that makes me hesitant to believe him. That’s what started all of this. Sydney was just the last straw, for a lack of a better term. In 2020 when I heard this news I was very confused and thought that it can be true because who would lie about abuse but later the whole internet saw how Amber Heard lied about abuse, we saw how Sidney falsely accused Drake Bell and was caught lying in court, and some other cases. Turns out false accusations towards famous people are more common than we thought. If Drake was falsely accused once, he can be falsely accused twice, looks like he has a bad luck with it. Even Josh Peck lied when be said they never were friends while there're 1000 photos of them together since 2008 until 2017 + Josh uploaded a few videos with Drake on his channel. There are many people who lied about Drake so it can be possible Melissa lied as well.
If you prefer "guilty until proven innocent" that's your decision, I choose the opposite. I was waiting for Melissa to go to court so I can find out what actually happened and see proofs and hear both sides. But it didn't happen.

The complication comes from the fact that the texts were sexual in nature and he was married, so that's at least one lie on his part (which he is open about now that's he was caught). There's no evidence for the nudes that the girl claimed, so that's at least one lie on her part. It's hard to know the truth when one person is lying and claiming the other one is lying.
That happened before they got married, they were boyfriend/girlfriend still. After they got engaged the fan got mad.

I don’t know if he is innocent or not but the entire story is actually very typical and important for people to realize. A lot of SAers were victims themselves as children and it is a cycle that perpetuates itself often. That’s why it’s important to talk about it and obviously the goal is to prevent it but allowing victims to feel that they can speak up can be important to them getting the help they need so that they don’t perpetuate this cycle

The best thing to do is to watch official sentencing video until the end, also there's a recently uploaded video of the witnesses explaining the situation, it can be helpful too
