Nice video Steve. Presiuamably you have catalytic carbon in your big blue as you have chloramine in your tap water? Fish would flick and flash with your temps changing. So they flash more in the evening as this could potentially indicate a fluctuation of the pH in the evening or morning. Might be worth checking your water report which you can download for free and see if you have other metals in your water like copper, zinc, aluminium in high amount.
@@CATANDEYEKOI well you know I had all those problems last year with my water. Might be worth using Pond Detox Formula every week for a couple of months. It has really helped a lot of people with fish flicking despite no parasite and pond water parameters ok.
happy belated birthday steve 60 years young and still going strong 😊😊hope you get on top of the koi parasites,i have fluke but they are getting treated tomorrow, the wildlife pond and garden is looking great
Feel for you same with us guys. We’ve emptied the bio out of our he drum filter found crap in it . CT AND SALT plus fish injected with bait rile good luck 🤞
@@CATANDEYEKOI will do the best of luck to the both of you guys too . We’ve had an ongoing battle ourselves with bacteria hopefully it has been nailed. Keep up the good work
Hi Steve, metals in the water maybe? I am near to you (crowland) and i run a big blue with bone char as well as carbon which helps take the metals out.

We have the correct carbon and do the checks randomly throughout the day. Still a mystery. Stay safe.
