Yeah yeah Yamaroonie, the Ducati 999 when inverted is the AntiChrist Bike so carry a cross -n- beads just in case ?
That Bionicle hit me a lil too hard. Thought we had a thing goin here fren.
As someone that’s never owned a motorcycle before I confirm these bikes are extremely controversial 😂
Why do you even follow papa yam? 😅 just curious
N+1, in your case N = 0, but the formula still works.
The 999 is beautiful
Also I'm amazed the Y2K didn't make the list
He did mention that Jay Leno has one next to his Honda Valkyrie. That's good enough for me!
I love the 999r. But my last 2 bikes also had kinda ugly snouts, 2014 vstrom, ‘17 1290 gt.
@@ebaensey2983 agreed those bikes are definitely stunning
That Buell. I have no words. And powered by the HD engine. Jesus christ.
I know right?! How much crack did that guy smoke before thinking he could make a Harley even remotely good? Have a better chance of becoming the king of mars.
he made some of the best handling bikes of all time while having that engine lol. Open your mind and go ride one
@@mcnuggetapple if it has a Harley engine you're not gonna get far on that ride. Be lucky to make it to the gas station before it dumps all its oil or breaks down. If buells were actually good, they would have sold. Even the new one outdated just like Harleys. And no they don't hold a line that well. They're very squirrely. They're like riding a 30 year old liter bike but worse in every way
@@jvillain9946 they sold till 2009 until Harley decided to end them. They definitely sold. I’m not going to enter any sort of debate/argument with someone who just started riding a month ago and gets his opinions on bikes from Instagram influencers lol
@@jvillain9946 what buells have you ridden , name every single one. Actually you should name all of the Harley’s you’ve ridden as well
The Battle Twin brings back memories of the BMW K1, ketchup and mustard optional (if you know, you know). Whether that's a good thing or not, I have yet to decide.
Ok. I have to ask about the ketchup and mustard, I don’t get the reference? I’m familiar with the K1 but missed something!
The most popular and well recognized colorway of the K1 is red with the large yellow "K1" on each side; hense the nickname, "ketchup and mustard." Dark blue with the large yellow "K1" on each side is a close second, and my personal preference. @@masonl.8859
full faired motorcyles were a thing in the 80s (ducati paso being another example)
As someone who owns a 749(the baby 999) and has the ability to ride his father's 999
I can say they're smashing bikes!
Pappa Yam review a 999!!!!!!!!
999 is objectively a better street/track bike than 996, change my mind!
you should review a Ducati 999
The Niken is actually very silly looking which makes me want it ngl
It's just a funny thing
I loved the 999 from day 1. Its stunning. The buel is pretty coil looking too.
Love that there’s a buell on the cover
My XB12SCG was a great handling bike. The best one I ever owned. Of course limited by the air/oil cooled V-Twin it was still a lot of fun to ride.
Visibly Yammie Noob has never ridden a Yamaha Niken under the rain on a greasy city road or on a wet country side road in autumn with plenty of wet dead leaves. And he will understand the superiority of the Niken in these conditions. The Niken had excellent results on road rallys, a specialty that requires very sure bikes.
Love from India ....
Of all the CZcamsrs who makes content related to bikes your my favorite ...❤
And I'll be getting my first motorcycle tomorrow ...🎉😆
Dude, the Rune looks like Judge Dredd's Law Master. Thats fucking awesome
My Multistrada 1000S is gorgeous from every angle except front 3/4. Seriously. & the gold Ohlins makes it even more beautiful for sure
Fast and smooth, plenty of low end torque. What more can you ask for?
This might be sacrilege, but the Rune gives me Triumph Rocket vibes
On the "Warriors" (XL)
They have the "XR-750"
heads, whitch were ported by "Jerry Branch".
Also introduced the
"Uni-planer" motor mounts. (Eliminated vibration)
Oil in the swing -arm,
TZ-250 spec chassis.
(Formula two / GP)
Pipes under the engine,
Front brake from hell!!!
From a guy who designed F-1 motorcycles, to street bikes. One can only say,
"AWESOME"!!!!! 👍
From the moment I saw the Ducati 999, I knew that was the bike for me. I never understood the appeal of the 916, it has an 80's look to me. IMO 🙏
Love the 999 photo at Greymouth Street Race, New Zealand 😊😊
CONTROVERSY!!!! Snuggies were awesome.
I'M NOT ALONE! I've had one for 10 years and it's still kicking. Snuggie and a cat in my lap in winter at my PC is peak living.
Hero still remains to be the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. This is controversial.
Yes because its actually honda
Dude your terminology made me bust out laughing. The Lego one was great. Idk how many beginner bike videos I can watch I’m still confused what to start with. Cheers
Well he does mention the Hayabusa as the best beginner bike the most. So I would get that, if you can get over it's horrible looks.
As someone who started on a Vulcan 650, moved to a GSX-R750, then a Z900 and now a ZX-14r. I can say the most fun I've ever had on a bike was on my Vulcan. Then again, who doesn't fall head over heals for their first bike 🤷♂️
It’s my 3rd bike and I love it. Put down 3k miles last season
CFMOTO's 800NK actually looks pretty kick ass.... 100 hp and 59 ft lb coming out of a 799 cc twin cylinder.... for $8500 msrp....
On paper it looks better than the mt07....
My 650nk got for under $6k out the door gives for some good road therapy for sure!
That intro is the best ive ever encountered 😂😂😂😂
I'm pretty sure more tires does not equal more grip? You share total mass over more surface by adding a wheel, which lowers the total grip per wheel. Please so correct me if im wrong but this sounds more logical to me, it might add more stability, but im talking purely grip
I just want to say as someone who owns an rr1200 battletwin as well as my dad owning one, they are a lot quicker than you’d expect due to only weighing 375lbs . They really aren’t much slower than anything else from back in the day
Love my FACTOR_ meals! And your videos!! Thanks, YAMMIE
Personally I think the 999 looks dope
Love the shade on the Vulcan 650!
No mention of the Honda pacific coast?
BMW K1... Has to be on a future version of this list.
I almost didn't recognize the Bad Yamma Jamma with hair in the Royal Enfield shot
It’s me, I’m the Orc……how dare you talk down on the KAWASEXI VULCAN!!!???
One day, I hope to go to an farmer's barn, and find a Rune, in pristine shape, for sale, for $500.
That rune is gonna be worth hundreds of thousands, or even millions, after it goes outside that barn.
Hey Yammie, could you make a video of jacking a bike into the air with a ladder and ratchet straps? The Hillbilly bike lift :)
I am in love with the 999
As a buell XB9R rider, I feel like buell doesn’t get enough credit for all the engineering put into the bikes. You’ll literally ride no other bike that’s quite like a buell, sure most of them have a V-twin Harley Davidson engine but the xb design took things to a new level when it comes to hp & torque.. the 1125&1190 rotax was a perfect fit for buell due to the 6th gear and higher HP. I feel like if he would’ve ditched the HD engine and stuck with rotax from the start buell would’ve been more successful
That rune looks great!
I absolutely love my CFmoto 450ss! In my opinion it slaps the other small displacement bikes in the face. One thing you didn’t display in your videos yam was the tech that comes with it. I’ll point out 3 big ones, 1: turn by turn navigation on the dash, 2: music display and control by button on the clip on, and gps tracking/ movement notification when turned off. Personally two of those points are huge for someone who may live in the city. I’ve owned 23 bike including most of the premium lines of 1000cc bikes and the tech on this 450 is what the average rider really needs! Personally I like that CFmoto doesn’t have a set “look” or “design” that they have to follow. They can just produce a bike with whatever engine and make it look sick. In my opinion a beginner rider doesn’t know any better and I would say looks for three things, 1:looks, 2:cost, 3:sound. Personally I think the 450 hit that nail on the head. I’m excited to see what CFMOTO have in the pipeline and word has it, they are about to drop a 675 triple!
The rune is my favourite motorbike ever made I love the look of it
The old himalayan was designed by Pierre Terblanche who designed the 999 😅 such coincidence!
Surprised papa yam did noy include Honda Motra! 😅
Ducati 999 "...at the time it was lauded as one of the best twin-engined sportbikes ever made...", err, WHAT?
The Rune is the most beautiful bike ever made.
yoo i thought this is bart!!
I love My CF Moto it is hands-down, one of the best bikes I ever owned I gotten 117k miles on it and it runs great
How can you talk about the Niken, without mentioning the Tesseract?
You think three wheels on a bike is bad? How about four?
But seriously, that thing looked absolutely mad and I would definitely like to own it.
Need to include suzuki b king and italjet motorcycle and bimota with a different set of front suspension
Dude the Yamaha Niken is a weird cool bike, maybe not a pretty bike but it's pretty corky weird and cool bike!
Crazy how you didn't mention the OTHER bike in this video designed by Pierre Terblanche.
999 has the most beautiful tail to this day for me.
Anyone else ever take the front wheel off a Ruin? Not easy.
You missed one of the most controversial bikes of all time."VR1000" Harley. They only sold a thousand of them and I haven't seen one since and I'm talking about 30 years ago. Orange on the left side black on the right side. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I want a Rune so damn bad.
Terblanche also designed the Royal Enfield Himalayan
You really just advertise the hungry man 2.0 lmao
The 916 was taken from the Honda RC 45.
come on, you know this is false.
People that like vulcans have had a vulcan. People that hate vulcans watch yammienoob
I absolutely love Vulcan lmao I don’t see all the hate. It handles well and has plenty of mid range. But here I go feeding into papa yams point of us coming to defend it 😂😂
The first Valkyrie 1520,was cool & more old school, afterward's, the Rune was too Gotti,Spazz in Cali.
Couldn't have this vid without the 999.
I refuse to even consider buying a CF Moto til several years of reliability. Being partnered with KTM doesn't lend a good name to their reliability. Im even questioning Yamaha for partnering with them now.
Yo yammie
Day 4 of asking Yammie to do a review on the 2024 cbr500r
Me seeing youtubers shit on a 24hp Himalayan when I'm getting ready for tours on my 125cc yamaha commuter 🙃😥
The Himalayan was good enough to dutch Noraly “Itchy Boots” travel around half the world on one.
The Rune is sexy in the same way Mirrormask is a good movie
8:13 i think 24 hp is enough for Indian roads 😅
Busa @0:25
I WANT A RUNE!!!
V-Rod enters the chat...
The MV 600 sadly has left the chat!
The Niken is crazy good on dirty or wet roads. If it came with the MT10 motor, I'd have one in my garage. Edit: I'm guessing this is the most controversial "motorcycle" on your list.
Kinda expected the Hayabusa to be in the list
My brother has two of those Royal Enfield Himalayans 🤔😵💫 Yeah hes a bit of a strange fellow .🙃🤣😄😎
Buell’s war was with Harley and being a crappy business owner. He was forced to use the sportster engine. He favored a big bore short stroke boosted engine for his XBs that Harley just wasn’t going to let happen.
The early xbs had a hole in the frame because it was meant to be turboed
With the Chinese and Indian motorcycles, it is an evolution.
I am a 25yr motorcycle technician and a 35 yr guitar technician.
I recal in the 70s made in China was a good thing and made in Japan wasn't.
The Japanese cars were crap. The musical instruments were crap.
As time past and the Japanese gained experience and wealth, the product quality increased dramatically.
Rrecently, say 10 yrs or so. The same has occurred with the quality of commodities produced in China.
Think electronics, cars, musical instruments etc. Everything is built to a price point.
As a guitar technician and player, I have seen the product quality in guitars increased to the point of being better than many contemporary manufacturers.
The same observation can be said for Indian, Korean, Indonesian and Chinese products.
It has been very interesting to watch the evolution of manufacture and trade for the past 56yrs.
My bet is that the world at large will surpass Japanese innovation and production capabilities in the near future.
It is a cycle and the cycle will always revolve.
Who doesn't like a good controversy... And used Vulcans come really cheap... 🤔🤔🤔
The Rune is gorgeous--I don't care what anyone says.
I’ll tolerate no disrespect to Buell
the 916 is a copy of the Honda NR750
far from being that. The only resemblance is the shape of the headlights.
the volumes, the lines, the chassis, the swingarm, the engine, the whole design language is different.
@@francescoporcari8597 No, you're wrong.
WELCOMNE TO YAMMIE NOOB: CO D :D :D
I love alternative front ends and badonkadonk rears... but that Yamaha thing is just wrong in my book...
Replace the Vulcan with the 1st gen, aptly named, Intruder. Suzuki's worst attempt at a v-twin cruiser. Liquid cooled, in an air cooled market sector, and the most blech styling...even for the 80s.
BMW K1200R PLEASE.
this channel is the only one ive seen that shits on the vulcan s so i think that controversy may be partially artificial lol
Wtf Yamaha you’ll make a Niken that no one wants and I’ve never seen one on the road ever or at any bike night
But you cancel the r6 and wr250r that ppl love.
And refuse to make a wr450r that we all keep asking for.
Im a Yamaha fan but y’all piss us off sometimes
China and high quality do not go together in one sentence.
Funny that CFMoto is still mentioned only in connection with KTM while they have the same agreement with Yamaha 😀
As you’ve said before, ride your own ride. If you’re spending any time at all complaining about what someone else bought and drives, let me recommend Better Help, the online…
Yammie "Chinese bikes are not that bad" Noob
Most products are ok-ish when new, but it is how reliable they are throughout the years that is important. You are not just riding a bike, you put your life in the hands of the engineers that built that thing.
The only times I’ve seen a Niken is during professional road bicycling races like the Tour de France. They can’t run cars amongst the peloton to get footage, so there will be a few of those monstrosities with a pilot and a cameraman on each.
I can accept the thing for a stable camera platform in tight quarters, but I can’t accept that someone would actually buy one for personal use.
😊
Ugly as the NEIN NEIN NEIN was, it was an original design. Unlike the 916🤷♂️

So much talking, so little substance. These are NOT the seven most controversial motorcycles ever built.
I was in a meeting last week and a HD saleswoman(yes, I know, RARE) mentioned that they have new LAMS(Learner Approved) motorcycles. I thought to myself... I would rather have a Vulcan S 650. I mean who would want an over-priced, under-powered V-Twin when you can have a nice reliable Kawasaki with newbie friendly positive neutral. Still don't want one. But HD is just vile garbage. Quite surprised their stupid electric offering didn't make this list(it doesn't even fit HD's market position).
