      Yeah Prescott and the surrounding area is above 5000 ft in elevation. Use to get a lot more snow and rain.

      The mountains of Arizona get plenty of snow, especially Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. Come visit sometime!

      I can see your education has really paid off. Your favorite show is Keeping up with the Kardashians and your favorite pastime is shopping.

    The store was built in 1908, I believe, by Max Alwen. It served as the Maxton post office as well.

    I see the local govt. did another bang up job of preventing people from entering this dangerous mine. They really have some great barb wire deterrent there.

      @theazjones Před 5 lety

      I was here today. There was no signs or barbed wire. Though, I think people should be able to explore if they want to.

    Hi. I live south of Prescott. I'm looking for someone in the area to detect with. Are you interested, or do you know of any clubs or groups in the area? Thanks for your time and your videos!

    Cool place, my family and I drove up there today, it's completely covered in graffiti now. If you don't mind me asking, where is the store foundation? I am guessing I drove/walked right past it and didn't know it was there. Thanks!

      froggz1098 it’s gone now. Only thing left is the old mill foundations. Who cares about the graffiti. Every artist needs a canvas. If you wanna go back into the mine bring knee high boots.. it’s flooded

      Walker Heck I don’t mind the graffiti at all. I love it, actually. It’s a hobby of mine, searching out places that have graffiti, it fascinates me! There’s are some very talented people out there that leave their mark in the form of graffiti.

      @diggingarizona8592  Před 8 lety

      +OfficialDJBean hey I went out Walker road off of I-69. You keep going past Lynx Lake. the road tuns to dirt. Its kind of hard to explain after that because there all forest roads.
