Glass Blowing- Making a Stemless Wine Glass

When you see the glass chips the first gather is rolled in, you don't expect them to produce the colours they end up doing. Who knew that the dark blue and turquoise chips would give a purplish and green colour to the resulting wine glass?

The colors don’t necessarily show their true color while hot. This piece ended up being turquoise, white, and purple.

@@astralglassstudio4765 Yes. I'm always getting caught out by the fact the heat itself adds an additional shading that fades as it cools.
