As if this tune is not tricky enough, they had to clip the last quarter note off the B part before it heads back to the A part? That's some esoteric rhythmic shenanigans there!

Is it not a hop jig, so in 3/4?....edit: after listening I hear what you meant. Somehow after years of playing this tune I must've taken it for granted. Similar things happen when you've known certain tunes forever. Fintan McManus', otherwise known as The Guns of the Magnificent Seven, is a three-part reel; it skips a beat in its final C-part and I just take it for granted, lol
