What I like about drill is what I liked about grime way back when. I love the disses, the back and forth, the indirects that you catch, also love rap so appreciate word play, schemes, flows etc. All the crud I hear in drill I was hearing back on my Sony Walkman, Ghetts for example, has the Smokiest bars about guns and drilling in on man, and that’s way back. Certain drill artist I listen to because they can flow, they have schemes, and a cadence on track that reminds me of grime and that you know. It’s sad that it has violent side but I’m hear for bars and sick beats. Not lil 14yr olds getting cheffed up🤷🏻♂️😮
