So first off, love your interp. I showed The Big Bang at our speech team workshop and everyone is amazed at how amazing you are. I love this one even more (probably cause I'm a huge fan of Dr. horribles sing along blog). Your guys' intros are fantastic. And then where did you guys find the script for this? I noticed it doesn't match up with the original (at least the film version) where did you guys find the script for this version?

He's a "super hero" NOT a good guy. He's a huge jerk and bully (think Titan in Megamind before he went villain) Youould watch the actual movie.

Yeah pretty sure this is simply illegal to do at the national level... Pretty remarkable that no one called them out for this. Within the first minute, several lines are entirely invented.

@billyyou guys did an amazing job on this! One of my friends and I are giving this a shot for speech and drama this year(sophomores) and its only our first year. I'm so glad this video is up because this is what we have been practicing off of and made our script from. I was wondering if you have any words of advice for this piece in general to make it as funny and interesting to the audience as you made it for me. Thanks in advance!!:)

good interp I love how who managed to condense the plot, but I don't feel like it gives Dr. horrible justice. There are a lot of metaphors and key moments that go into it and this didn't really capture them all that well such as penny's last line: "captain hammer will save us"
But all in all it was very well done.

+Tallone55 I think it's mostly just trims and splices. I don't think there's many actually added words.
+Tom Leonard No, I've seen the original script a number of times. There were a ton of added words.
+Tallone55 I've seen the original script too, it's mostly just cutting. And the words they did add definitely didn't exceed 100.

I'm not a massive fan of how they changed the ending. In the original, it was Captain Hammer who killed Penny by being an over confident asshole. The point of the show is that Dr Horrible, despite being a villain, is a better person than Captain Hammer who is a hero. By changing it so that Dr Horrible kills Penny, you completely switch the character roles and make Billy look like the dick.
Other than that, very good!
