    Visit there in the summer about every year (from Raleigh, NC area). Last time I was visiting I got to shake hands with the Prime Minister so that was pretty cool. Ottawa is a great city. Not too big so a good mix of city and nature. Recent best cities of the world list had Raleigh #2 and Ottawa #13 so pretty close in quality of life.

      Thank you so much! We hope to do winter ones at some point. Well, I suppose it depends. In general, I'd say summer and fall are great. Summers are very hot and very busy with tourists though. Fall can still be busy but not as bad. Plus, weather is cooler and the beautiful fall colours are very popular in this area of Canada. The winter is much colder, of course, but it's also a beautiful time to visit if you're into it.

      Yes it is and also you have to wait for your turn . When we arrive there to go up it was at the end of a week day and we were alone whit another big boat.
      It took us more than a hour but the feeling going up the locks is awesome. I had only a small 19 ´ fishing boat and we we heading to Smith Falls .We were camping in a tent at locks and took us three days to go and three day to come back , we had left from " Two Mountain Lake" .
      It was a adventure that we will never forget ! 😜

    I'm so sorry for Canada. Most things about a good Canada are not true, Including clean cities - beaches, and forests. It's a big lie. The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. I'm so sorry for Canada. Canadian and Canadian Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe or the United States. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian-Indonesian or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beach. I wish the Canadians woke up and had no enmity with their country. I wish the respectable people of Canada would wake up

    • @MustDoCanada
      @MustDoCanada  Před 2 lety +1

      Lol, what are you smoking? This is not even close to the truth. Turkey is one of the dirtiest countries I've ever seen. I went surfing in Bali and was constantly swimming through plastic. The USA is the same thing. Engand, Germany, etc. We lived in Malaysia and went to school there. Again, garbage bags floating out at a sea. Disgusting. It's nowhere near that here. And Calgary, where we live, is literally ranked as the cleanest city in the world.
