If y’all don’t understand the insert and how she took it out after it’s not a sheet of paper that she pressed between it it’s a second mold that bends/refracts the light and let’s the light become all rainbow ish( I’m tired so this probably doesn’t make sense)

I'm not one for social media influencers or youtubers that do stuff like this, I'm not into the epoxy myself but listening to you combined with the visuals.....please don't think me a creep but this is what I can play in the bath & feel my stress drain away. Ive been watching your videos for about a week now, you whisper so beautifully but still talk so clearly it's such a soothing sound it's like the perfect in-between of the volume that is not too loud but not too quiet to not hear

I think I keep amassing supplies because I'm really sort of nervous to start LOL this is completely new to me I've never used resin before but I've been picking up supplies for months now and I finally got my resin in from the epoxy resin store not long ago we'll see how my first projects go.
@@Ophiane that's how I was too, I actually had resin sitting in a box for a month because I was scared to use it. But after my 1st pour I was amazed how easy it was. And realized I was nervous for no reason 😁

What is the holographic insert and how does it work? It looks like you take it out at the end so im a little confused. The finished product is beautiful though
The holographic insert is a silicone mold. The holographic effect stays put on the silicone mold and the holographic transfers to the resin as it dries.
In this case holographic is a actually a micro texture and that micro texture is transferred to the resin.

Is so pretty! But how can you use it as a coaster with the face of it being uneven from the druzy insert?
Thank you 🤗 even though it's textured cups still stand up perfectly fine the faceted druzy texture is pretty even so the cups don't wobble or tip at all.

I think this would have worked even better if you'd done a final layer of opaque black after the insert. It'd give the holo more to stand out against, since it's so flat and thus the prismatic effect doesn't have a lot to bounce around in.
Thanks for watching, you can't pour over the holographic effect or it will disappear and the holographic effect doesn't show with opaque colors.
I did an opaque black with only the druzy insert a while back and that turned out pretty. Here's the link to that video if you want to check it out.

It's a sparkly texture. Druzy is a term used in crystals a lot. It means super sparkly.
