A visit to the Mt. Ranier Scenic Railroad

The Mt. Ranier Scenic railroad in Elbe, WA offers a relaxing 1:15 min ride along and through some scenic forests and rivers at the base of Mt Ranier.
We were pulled by a Baldwin 2-8-2 steam locomotive and road in one of several historic passenger coaches. While the trip is short, and one never actually sees Mt Ranier, it is worth the effort and time for train buffs everywhere.
