  • This is a photo manipulation tutorial to turn half a face into text, or how to put a face into letters
    there are several typography effect that using face as a media, sometimes it's called text portrait effect. Usualy done in Photoshop, but now also in Canva.
    a real text portrait in Photoshop is filling the face with letters entirely. So it became a unique art.
    This half face typography tutorial also has unique results, because you can still see one side of the face. So you can still see the emotion clearly. So like in the example in this video, half of the face shows a smile, the other half says to be happy. Seen as a unique entity.

    Now that Canva has updated the Shadows area, I don't see a way to change the location (top/bottom right/etc) and the new shadows area has different adjustment names. Are you able to help with the updated version? Thanks!

      you can change to the old editor. Tap Edit Photo, you will see the new tools on the lefr side. Scroll to the bottom of the keft side, there is an option to change to old version editor. Click the 'click here' words there. And then click the r'evert to old editor' button

      Bg remover usualy work to remove the majority color. so if the white color didn't remove, please reduce the yellow color surface. for example by adding white shape on the yellow section.

    Thank you very much. One question. How do I make an object look like it was buried in snow with Canva?

    • @canvaartdesign
      @canvaartdesign  Před 10 měsíci

      you're welcome. thanks for the question, but can you please give me more detail? coz in my opinion, when an object burried in snow then nothing will be seen but the snow only.

      Bg remover usualy work to remove the majority color. If the text and the bg is made by you, you can add the black size. If you want more explanation, you can send me your result to my facebook account Reno Nadiandy, so i can check it out

      By separate each line to different text box. Type DONT and then click the text tool, type WORRY, click type tool again and type BE and do for other line.

      Thank you for trying, Sergio. Yes, of course for Photoshop user, it will be easier using Photoshop. This trick is my "translation" from Photoshop to Canva. originaly it was made in Photoshop and then i made it with Canva for Canva user☺️
