- Making Peter PARKER using an original character, Special K, from a story I'm creating called FeastLife. Starting from an illustration and now finally a designer toy merged with the amazing Spidey! Like a lot of my work this figure was originally sculpted using clay. Enjoy the in studio production process as I get immersed into making a Designer Toy.

I was finally able to get a figure from the great Frank Montano, Spider-Man
Thank you Oscar!!
Looks fantastic! I’m in the process of designing Aver Kriss and painting Bo Katan 😊
Nice!!! I hope they are turning out great. Thank you. I thought about taking on Bo Katan. Soon!!
@@FrankMontano they are, thanks! Yeah go for Bo Katan, keen to see her in your style!
Great videos, very inspiring! I wonder what type of brushes you use for coloring the details... the long thin brush type. Also, I would love to see more vids of the sculpting itself.. is it 3D printed, or all by hand sculpting? Cheers!
"Man, that's a lot of cleanup. . . Oh I see, he's decided to add more details and is creating a new master. He'll probably make new molds next."
It's time for paint.
"O-oh. . ." 😶
😅
I’m working on a original character. Lovin the content btw. Been following you on Instagram for alil while. I’m under Koe_Xist on there. Keep doing what your doing 👍👌
Thank you man! Look forward to seeing your creation. Good luck!!
How did you get the arms and legs to snap into place using a rigid resin like Smooth Cast 300 and not have them immediately fall out or break off at the peg when you try to move them? I've only ever been able to make articulated figures with flexible resins like Smoothcast 45D and Flex-It 90.
Another great video! :) I am interested in your paint cabin, I need to build myself one of those! Also, where can I get such steady hands like yours to make such perfect lines!? :D
Thank you friend! My hands were purchase through Alibaba.😂
Recently came across you on Instagram, and I love seeing what you are creating! This has been something I have been wanting to try my hand at for a while now. Any resources or artists that inspire you and helped you get where you are at today?
Inspirations usually come from life experiences!!
I have so many questions! 🙊 1) After you molded, did you pressure pot? 2) What types of sand paper do you use? 3) What was the liquid you poured when you were doing the sculpting? Thank you in advance and sorry for an the questions Frank! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
yes a pressure pot, I use a medium style sand pad and usually 320/220 grit paper and liquid was just water to keep my gloves from stickinh to the clay! Thanks for watching!!
Would there be a difference in end product if you decide to 3d print the figure instead of resin molding it?
The prints aren’t always reliable and I have had issues with micro cracks and blemishes. Maybe it’s my setting or printer but printing takes a bit more work cleaning if you are doing multiples. Good luck!!
I always wondered how do you get around from being sued or shot down from in the case of like Disney or something. I love your work and I too have done some of my own designs but I'm so worried about selling or sharing because I'm not trying to end up in court, lol.
Search appropriating copyrighted work. You’ll learn a lot. Best of luck!
Why did you choose to mold it in separate pieces? Was it just to make painting easier?
Exactly!
Do you pressure cast?
I do!
Where can I get one of your paint mixers?!
link is in the description!!
@@FrankMontano Thank you!!!
