@@nONaMe-ox9ok because they say in the video that this is the first time you can create your own char, but it isn't the first time, they have always included char creation so its a big oof for them. Very embarrising and it shows that they haven't played any lego games at all. Same with the open world stuff, they have done open world lego games since 2012 and appearently its the first time now

lol this guy really doesn’t play LEGO games does he I’m pretty sure Character creation has been a thing even as back as LEGO Star Wars they just make your CC in this game a key point in the story which is the first time they did that can’t wait ima deluxe owner 10/10 so far from what I see bought on Nintendo switch which is the best way to play 👍🏼
It's not the best way to play though because the graphics won't be as good and it probably won't run as good
@@invinciblereason1618 I don't think that would be a problem at all. It's a Lego game. Wii had Lego games, and the switch is a lot a lot more powerful that that.
@@PanosSkarp fair point but the main consoles are still more powerful so i wouldn't say it's the best place to play. Certainly better than previous nintendo consoles though and last gen consoles.
@@invinciblereason1618 I agree with you, the difference is nice on the main consoles but in case of the Lego game the trade of is not a problem. For example I wouldn't play doom on the switch cause I think that there is too big of a trade off. It's not that bad to say it's not the same game but if I had the option to play on another platform I would. Which I did. Thank you for being polite!

@@darthlogan6679 disappointing how? It's one the biggest roast of characters we've had in a Lego game, and the characters they've put on it are great, their design and playability...

I remember playing lego Batman years back when younger. So when I happened to scroll past this when browsing my switch’s e shop, I almost didn’t believe it.
It’s moments like this where I’m glad I decided to pick up a switch

@humanity is a joke to our ancestors People usually use the customization to create characters that's not in the game. For example I wanted to play John Henry Steel but, there no John Henry Steel in the game so, I created him and now he is.
@humanity is a joke to our ancestors I'm sure you can see why people enjoy creating their own characters though. Especially in a LEGO game. LEGO is quite literally all about using your creativity to create something, including characters. It's not necessary for every game, but character creation does feel pretty essential to a game like LEGO. Additionally, it's a pretty neat addition when you're also able to create your own super villain or super hero. Though, in my opinion, that should include being able to choose your powers.

Character customization = building.
It's basically what LEGO is. I'm sure you played with LEGO once. Imagine if you couldn't build anything. You could just buy finished pieces and figures, and play with them. It would still be fun, yes, but it wouldn't be LEGO. I get that these LEGO games aren't about building things, but at least character customization captures a little bit of what LEGO is. Not enough to make or break the game, but it's a nice addition for those interested. If not, you can just use one of the already made ones.

Npc characters are playable characters. Just like in Lego marvel superheroes 2 and Lego batman 3 you're going to need to do a quest or two of some sort for them before you can unlock them. When you unlock them you have to purchase them with studs afterwards in order to play as them.

TURTLE FIST you can make your own character in almost every single lego game dating back to lego star wars
Just A Normal Raccoon not in the 3ds version of Lego Batman 3 or Lego The Hobbit. True the console versions of Lego Batman 3 have character customization but the 3ds version of it was not programed to have it. I searched every single hub world and even looked up guides where to find it but every single one said that the 3ds version does not have it.

Let’s not forget Michael Rosenbaum as The Flash.
I bought this game when it first came out. I had the physical copy for Xbox, and I only put the disc in my console and installed it once and for some reason I noticed when I went to reinstall it again at a later time. The disc would only install half way. I looked at my disc and noticed a very small scratch I believe it was that problem. So I threw the game out last month and just bought the digital copy for $6 on Microsoft Store. I owned the season pass already, and now I can enjoy this game again

@@jensenlopez2944 😯😯 you know what I actually didn't play it until 2 hours ago and now you comment what a weird coencidence. The game is very fun with alot of action. Its like playing and watching a movie. For the price absolutely worth it. Alooooot of customization and special abilities, it will take some time to understand the mechanics of each character but it's all the same button and you will get used to it. Enjoy
