- Hi everyone. I am starting out with this wire Heart Wreath for this coming Romantic Valentine season. I have a bunch of DIY's coming up that all complement each other. So if you like gold, blush, pinks, and pearls, STAY TUNED! ♥ Karem

Supplies:
- heart wreath (Dollar Tree)
- gold floral wire (Dollar Tree)
- 2-3 Packs Glass Pearls ( different sizes) (Dollar Tree)
- 1 pack blush clear beads (Dollar Tree)
- 1 bunch of small blush flowers (Dollar Tree)
- 1 pack sequence (Dollar Tree)
- Rustoleum Metallic Gold spray paint (Home Depot or Lowes)
- Primer Spray Paint (Home Depot or Lowes) OPTIONAL
(I use it so the gold spray paint better adheres to the metal)
- Clear Coat Spray Paint (Home Depot or Lowes) OPTIONAL
(I use it so the gold spray paint doesn't rug off)
- Acrylic Bead: Amazon (I bought mine a few years ago. The link in no longer there, but here is one that I found. Michaels and Hobby Lobby also carry these beads)

Garlands this beautiful and intricate can cost at least $15 per yard at craft stores. So this is a great diy because you don't need that much to make one yourself. Love this so much! 💕

I have purchased wiring such as this, spendy as they were, &I use them on picture frames, on lamp shades, on the lighting in the bath room, on mirrors, as crowns on busts, on Lady Head vases, in plants... the trick is to use draping more than wrapping for ease of removal when you're ready to freshen up a room. I'm thrilled to have found a way to make them myself in the color & pattern I choose for each project. I have vintage plastic flowered necklaces, a couple with plastic fruit... from the 60s which will be stunning. A cream, brown, & gold on the wispy wire will offset the fringe on the shade. So pleased & I thank you.

The individual pearls didn’t have holes so I had to drill the holes. Then they didn’t have the colored beads so I used nail polish…it was labor intense, but so worth it because I absolutely had to have it. I’m 1/4 the way done wrapping the second wreath.

Did I miss the length of feet we would approximately need to make? This is so Gorgeous! I finally was able to acquire a few heart frames this year.
I think I used about a whole spool of that wire (100 feet) I might have used more. I did more projects that are coming up and I think I used about 300 feet of wire total. Sorry, forgot to keep track. 😬🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️

IMO, That wreath looks sparse and cheep. It needs much more flowers for full wire coverage
In my opinion, the piece does not look cheap. I believe the artist chose a dainty, elegant look with the transparency of the wire to mimic a lovely sun catcher that would be as pretty in a window as hung on a door. It’s personal choice to add more or less as one’s creativity inspires.
