I don't know if I'd call Diablo 1's gameplay the least refined, it's more of a slow and deliberate paced game compared to the faster and faster paced action the series would get with every subsequent entry.

I was hoping better work for the portraits. I feel like some details are missing in Aldaris' portrait and such. Also they could remaster cinematics like they did in Diablo 2 Resurrected.
@@ExecutorNralI know what you mean. Remastered's portraits feel choppy. The original's were choppy aswell but because everything else was also pretty low-res, it wasn't as noticeable.
It also changed a bunch of the portraits to the post retcon versions of the characters, which are drastically worse for many of the characters, including pre-infestation Kerrigan and basically all of the protoss. And the minerals look stupid.
The portraits are really jarring since most of the units look great. Even if they didn't look like SC2 portraits they just look like they belong in a different game.
The story of Overwatch as a game is basically Kerrigan from SC1, great at first, then an enormous entity called the Overmi- , uh I mean Activision took it and corrupted it into a monster. I honestly believe that the first few months of the games life was the peek of competitive team fighting games in recent history. It's such a shame that kind of experience can never be replicated, guess you just had to be there.

I was talking about vanilla Diablo 3. The reason why I gave it so low is that the rare items in the game were better than both legendary and sets at the time. Story and voice acting were bad. Diablo and Azmodan give you headache after some time. Also RoS made things better but not as better as I hoped.
I'm not sure how to rate it. There are things done better compare to previous Diablo games but at the same time there are a lot of missing features from the previous games. They need to bring sets, runewords, cube and some new endgame features with a secret level, it would be great. Also each class need additional skills. Necro not having revive is a huge crime.
Remaster deserves a 9/10 at least, 10/10 I say. Same game but with a graphical improvement~. Unless you're taking multiplayer into account... In which case... Yeah, multiplayer is ah... It's got problems.

I'd pitch WC3 Reforged below Diablo Immortal, given that Diablo Immortal is a terrible cashgrab, but WC3 Reforged is a terrible cashgrab that also permanently damaged the previously excellent Warcraft 3 and its online scene. If there was a negative score for something that actively reduces the amount of meaning and beauty in the world, it would have earned it. At least Diablo Immortal can be terrible on its own without bothering anyone who doesn't play it.

D2 was a mess when it first came out. It became wholesome with LoD and patches. On the other hand D1 was always great. I believe mostly because there are spesific items drop from certain bosses and locations.
Idk I like heart of the swarm multiplayer much better than legacy of the void. I hate the changes to the economy in legacy of the void. The campaign is the best in the legacy though
I only played Hearthstone in its first year so idk what's going on with that game these days. I must say it was fun back then. Heart of the Swarm was pretty bad imo. Story was pretty boring so as the campaign missions. New units were pretty bad too.
Starcraft 1-2: I'd give both a solid 8.5 cause despite all the rough edges, it is damn good Diablo 1-3 (I count 3 only as Reaper of Souls cause realistically it is the real end of Diablo 3) despite all the goody lore has lackluster grindy gameplay so it ranges from 9 to 6.5 Heroes of The Storm got its solid 7, but i'd say it was an 8 when it was... you know, remembered by Blizzard Never played Warcraft so can't judge Diablo Immortal should not exist. Love how Diablo 4 and OW2 aren't even in the list
Honestly that's a really good argument for it. I've never cared for the multiplayer scene. I love all the SC2 entries, but Wings of Liberty is my favorite just because it's the Terran one.
