Talluri Rameshwari was born and brought up in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh. Rameshwari has a sister, who has also acted in Telugu films. Talluri Rameshwari is said to resemble the Hindi actress Rajshri, during her young age. After graduating from FTII, she entered to act in the movies. Entering in Bollywood was very easy for her. She acted in Bollywood as well as Tollywood movies. Dulhan wahi Jo Piya Man Bhaye was her debut movie. It was released in the year 1977 and she made her debut in Telugu films in the year 1978. Her first movie in Telugu was directed by the veteran director K. Viswanath and the film was a super hit. The role she played was her lifetime best role in her debut Telugu movie, Seetamalakshmi. Her Hindi movie that released in 1980 called Aasha, was a super hit again. She acted in both Telugu and Hindi movies simultaneously. Chinnodu Peddodu was a hit movie, in which, Talluri Rameshwari had a good role. She was also a part in the hit movie Bunty Aur Babli Bunty Aur Babli , starred by Abishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee. Her recent film is Rowdy Fellow Rowdy Fellow in Telugu, which was released in 2014. Talluri Rameshwari is also seen in lots of Television series too.
Her husband is Deepak Seth, a Punjabi actor & producer, with whom she has two teenage sons. She and her husband produced a Punjabi film together "Mein Tuun Assin Tussin" (2007), based on the William Shakespeare play "Comedy of Errors.".
She shares her birthday (January 6) with Howard Hughes.
She became well-known to Bollywood audiences when she starred in the hit Hindi films "Dulhan Wohi Jo Piya Man Baye" (1977) and "Aasha" (1980), the latter earned her the Filmfare Nomination as Best Supporting Actress.
She graduated from Film and Television Institute of India, Pune in 1975.
She is originally from Andhra Pradesh, which is a state in South India.
Has two sons. Elder one name is Bhaskara Pratap Seth . The younger one was born in 1992. His name is Surya Prem Seth.
In 1982, Deepak Seth and Rameshwari had planned a film titled "Top Secret". They clashed with director Sudesh Issar over the rights to the title. Deepak later shelved his film and Top Secret was later titled "Bhai Ka Dushman Bhai".
Starred in the shelved film "Andhere Ujaale" (1981) Starring Girish Karnad,Rameshwari.
Older sister named Krishna.
In 1976, Rajshri had planned a English version of "Uphaar"(1971). Rakesh Pandey,Rameshwari, Dina Pathak,Urmila Bhatt were signed. The project got shelved.
(in 2007, she explained her long sabbatical from acting) I wasn't offered film in the first place and when it did come my way, both times I was visibly pregnant. Now I want to act in good projects with good directors and I have promised myself not to make any mistakes. I think I can streak my hair grey or pass off as a 30, 40 or 50 year old, but definitely not a 60 year old. All this only if I like the subject.

इनकी जीवनी बहुत ही अच्छी लगी। रामेश्वरी जी को हमने बचपन से नोटिस करा था। दक्षिण भारतीय अभिनेत्रियों में इनका स्थान भी अग्रिम पंक्ति में लिया जाता है। आगे चलकर उन्होंने आर्ट फिल्मों में भी काम किया। काजोल भी सांवली थी या सही मायने में काली किन्तु स्टार किड्स की वजह से उन्हें हमेशा ही सफलता मिली। सही बात है अति प्रतिभाशाली और सुन्दर अभिनेत्रियां भी किस्मत के आगे विवश हो गई।भानु प्रिया और शांति प्रिया को कौन भूल सकता है पर इन्हें भी वो मुकाम हासिल नहीं हो सका जिनकी वो रियल हकदार कहीं जा सकती हैं। यहां वही टिकते हैं जिनकी किस्मत तगड़ी हो या जिनका गाड फादर हो। हमने इनकी फिल्म मेरा रक्षक और आशा देखी थी सुन्दरता के साथ ही अभिनय कला में भी पारंगत थी खासकर इनकी आवाज बहुत ही सम्मोहित करने वाली थी। आप सब का आभार, धन्यवाद

I had met Rameshwari at Jaslok Hospital where she had cone to visit a patient next to my Mom in the ward.
When unfortunately my Mom collapsed & I started weeping. She was standing next to me & told me to hold my Mom's hand & tell her to come back from lost consciousness.
Finally, same had happened & my Mom became conscious.
I had also told that we are her great fan, & I could see tears in her eyes.
I will always remember her.
However, my Mom expired 2 years later.
