- Do you have an android based handheld? Want to play more games than it appears to let you play? I will show you how using RetroArch and Daijishō.
Please watch and I want your comments and questions. Hopefully I can help you play LOTS of games!
Special thanks to all of you! This is my first official training video and I Hope it helps! - Hry
Nice Tutorial! Would love to see Emulation Station on this. I ordered the 405V 3 days ago (26th april 2024) and I own the AYN Odin 2 Pro, and just a few weeks ago got the R36S and because I seem to be playing the R36S more I then wanted the most powerful Vertical Handheld to date and this is it. Been looking for a tutorial on ES-DE on this system but there isen't any or couldn't find any, hint hint.
Thank you so much! I loooove mine!
For some of us that are totally new to this, you are moving so fast in explaining yourself to us! Thanks anyway+
Yikes! I’m sorry it wasn’t helpful to you! It’s hard for me to slow down … so I get it… and will try to slow down my next one.
Great video, thank you. However am I doing something wrong - done the screen overlay removal and it’s still there! And the hot keys just quit to retroarch and not the home screen. I miss my 353v 😭😆
Oh no I’m sorry! Screen overlay should go away for sure! It’s super annoying! When you go back in are the settings back?
All sorted!!! Thanks so much for the reply!! 🙂
I do have another super quick question. Can you add individual games to the roms folder, rather than scanning the whole folder? After setting my Arcade/Mame folder up perfectly, I was missing a couple of games. So went to Paths and had to add the whole folder, rather than just adding one or two roms.(Thus having to remove stuff again!!!)@@RetroZoltan
@@alyweb1969 you should be able to add roms to the respected folders. If they aren’t showing up I believe you have to rescan, did you try that? I have to recheck how but o believe that’s all you need to do.
@@RetroZoltanThat’s the problem. I put the new RomS in their respective folders and rescans, but annoyingly removes all the renaming of files that I’ve done already!! So every time you scan, you have to do your renaming etc all over again!! Thanks for the reply and your time BTW. Much appreciated. :-)
@@alyweb1969 I have never seen this! Ok what folder are you putting these games in? I need to try and recreate
I wonder if you can get the Sega Model Emulators to work on Daijisho?
Next time I’m playing around with mine I will try. I’m sure it will work. :)
@@RetroZoltan I wonder if it will work via stock firmware?
Hey do u know how to get sega cd working? It launched md.emu but that gives an error about extension. Is there another emulator that works?
Never tried Sega CD so I’ll have to take a look. Are you using Dijisho or RetroArch? Or the RG loader?
@@RetroZoltan Dijisho
@@allen0088 ok let me start from there. Assuming there may be multiple cores. What are you loading for a game? .iso ? .bin etc..?
@@RetroZoltan chd.
@@RetroZoltan i figured it out. I had to open it through retroarch's "segacd-retroarch64- genesis_plus_gx" emulator and save it as the default emulator on Dijisho. I also had to put all the bios in one folder and add that folder to retroarch to load.
Help me with Retroarch and MAME! My ROMs doesn’t work. 😢
I haven’t played with Retroarch with MAME games yet. Did you try swapping the cores?
@@RetroZoltan I forgot to put the BIOS with the ROMS. Now its working fine. Thank you!
Sweet you figured it out! And you taught me something!
How about using Moonlight?
Not a bad idea. I did (sort of) figure it out but my network sucked so bad it didn’t work well. Maybe I’ll do one in the future if I can get my act together.
Can you please help me? My GBA games won’t save. What should I do? I can pay you as a thank you for helping me.
Are you using Dijisho to play the games?
I had a similar issue in the GBC games. Is a permission issue, you need to open the emulator app and allow permissions to use the folders. Hope this helps 🤙
