ABOUT ARE YOU SMARTER THAN A 5TH GRADER?:
Are you Smarter Than a 5th Grader? demonstrates exactly how much adults have forgotten since their elementary school days. Art? Math? Social Studies? It's all up on the chalkboard again as adult contestants team up with students to answer questions based on material from elementary school textbooks.

This clip shows its age! The longest reigning British monarch was Queen Elizabeth, who was queen for 70 years and 214 days.
To be fair nobody thought she’d last that long
Before it was Queen Victoria
I like how Jeff made it seem like Kathy was wrong XD
Hopefully you can get the full episodes of these 2!
I loved the way Jeff played around with the first winner with her answer.
George made history one time with the old CBS TV show "Big Bang Theory", but on the primetime series finale that night, 14:27 GEORGE HAS MADE IT AGAIN!!! HE'S WON A MILLION DOLLARS!!
That's how I got here. Heard his name in the show and wondered if he was real, in his wiki page it said he was the second contestant ever to win are you smarter than a 5th grader and I just had to see his run!
Out of all the contestants in the history of this version of "5th Grader", 15 contestants, including Professor George Smoot III, reached the Million Dollar Question. 10 of them said "Oh I can't do it, I'm dropping out of school." 5 decided to roll the dice and play the final question. 3 flunked out and walked away with $25,000. And finally, 2 were crowned millionaires!!
5 of the 10 who dropped out would’ve gotten the question right had they decided to go for it
@@ethanuy2261 Actually, it was 4 out of 10. Alex Alfred, Stephanie Wombach, Ken Jennings, and Reverend Richard Miles.
@@jaredlittle312 but I think that was for fun not sure if he gave out real money on it
@@alexleisenring3517 it’s real alright.
Actually 16 got to the $1,000,000 question.
6 went for it.
4 were wrong & gave back $475,000 & won $25,000.
2 were right & won $1,000,000.

HISTORY MADE AGAIN!
PLEASE PLEASE bring this show back!!!! ABC needs this!!!
I want the original 5th grade class to come back as contestants, they’re about the age as me so they’d be in their mid-20s right now.
@@tommyl.dayandtherunaways820MY VERSION OF THE SHOW WOULD BE FOR THE ORIGINAL 5TH GRADE CLASS TO COME BACK AS REGULAR CONTESTANTS TO WIN $1,000,000 & A NEW CAR 🚗!!😮🎉
KATHY COX & GEORGE SMOOT THE 3RD BOTH SHOULD HAVE ALSO WON A NEW CAR 🚗 ALONG WITH THE MILLION DOLLARS!!
14:39
HE WON A MILLION BUCKS!!!
UNBELIEVABLE!!
Where's Elizabeth Miller's clip?
She won the $250,000 before Geoff did.
4:34
*JEFF FOXXWORTHY: You just won a million dollars! 😮*
Kathy’s question would be outdated today
I would have flunked out of school in each question would anyone here gotten the mill
4:31
*KATHY COX, You Are A Millionaire!!! 😲*
9:07 The man in the top left of the 14 contestants that hit the Million Dollar Question looks familiar. Was that Meghen Miles' dad?
YES!
HE APPEARD IN SEASON 3 BECAUSE HE WANTED REDEMPTION.
AND THEN HE WON 20 TIMES MORE THEN WHAT MEGAN WON.
HE REDEEMED THE FAMILY NAME
14:39
*JEFF FOXXWORTHY: He won a million bucks! 😍*
14:42
*JEFF FOXXWORTHY: Unbelievable! 😅*
4:43
*JEFF FOXXWORTHY: How about that? We have our first million dollar winner! 😲*
4:30
*JEFF FOXXWORTHY: But that was ENOUGH to be the longest reigning british monarch! 😮*
4:34
*JEFF FOXXWORTHY: You just won a million dollar! 🤑*
we could’ve had two more with Alex the poker player and that girl who correctly said Vivaldi for the million dollar music question
And Jeopardy! GOAT Ken Jennings if he had answered the John Adams question correctly.
WE HAVE THE MOMENTS!
4:30 "But that was enough TO BE THE LONGEST REIGNING BRITISH MONARCH! YOU JUST WON A MILLION DOLLARS!"
14:22 "You made history one time with The Big Bang Theory, but tonight... YOU MADE IT AGAIN, YOU GOT A MILLION DOLLARS!"
17:34 "The guy in this picture... is... NIKITA KHRUSHCHEV!"
Do you possibly have the full episode of George winning the million? I’m only able to find the first million dollar winner full episode, but not the second.

For the record, even Ken Jennings, AKA Jeopardy Super Champ, couldn't beat the quiz.
Not just the Jeopardy! super champ, he is also the Greatest of All Time (GOAT).
To be fair, he won $500,000 and he knew the answer to the million dollar question, but didn’t go for it
@@skullkid3447 Doesn't matter if he did know it, what matters is if he went for it, which he did not.
Due to the rules that you cannot see the question unless you actually go for it (can understand the rule) he chose to play it safe. But nevertheless, he knew the question, thus by definition, he IS smarter than a 5th grader, he simply didnt wanna risk it all.
@@Chemical_Argentum Maybe, but he's certainly not as brave as one.
14:39 $1 Million Dollar Winner
On the American 2007 game show "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?", here are the best big winners (two winners from the original FOX version & one winner from the syndicated version). 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
Henry VIII I believe was about 40 yrs. He had six different wives so it had to be long however Victoria made sense. If this show was made at anytime after 2015 then the answer would have been Elizabeth II (1952-2022)
4:30 14:27

14:39
@@muhammadarrasyisapari3970 4 of them saw the million dollar question 3 of those were wrong and lost $475,000 only one person has made it to the million
What about Elizabeth Miller
She's Our First A Quarter Of A Millionaire.
4:30
But that was enough
TO BE THE LONGEST REIGNING BRITISH MONARCH!!!!!
YOU JUST WON A MILLION DOLLARS!!!!!
That first question was so easy :( it’s now Queen Elizabeth the second but at that time was Queen Victoria
google said queenelizabeth the second is longest reigning british monarch not victoria
If I was on this show and I reached the million-dollar subject (not the question...the subject), I would not have taken such a risk. Instead, I would have dropped out with $500K. It's a lot better than $25K, and I'm not one to take big risks.
I’ve always wondered why Shows like this start off with $1 million as the grand prize but then later on dumb it down significantly to $250K
It's because it's moved to syndication (as opposed to primetime) and the show isn't making as much money, therefore they lower the top prize.
Or they go the route of Who Wants to be a Millionaire and keep the top prize at $1 million but ramp up the difficulty of the questions so there are fewer big winners.
17:41
NIKITA KHRUSHCHEV!!!!!
A quarter of a million dollar winner.
Queen Victoria reigned 63 years that much is true. I find it funny that she though Henry VIII showed up there because he didn't even love to the age of 63. He died when he was only 55.
You forgot Elizabeth Miller!
This is going to sound insane but with the last contestant ($250,000) I had a guess as to who it could be. I havent watched this episode before and before he answered, i thought about who it could be. I found a name not too long ago when i was studying World History. I found a name "Nikita Chrushchev." I didnt think too much of it. I just remembered that he was bald. When he popped up as the picture, It took me a second and i didnt think of anyone who would fit the bill. I thought of Vladimir Lenin but the picture was hairless. (Bald and no mustache/Facial hair.) So i went with Nikita. I would of won $250,000 just based off of him being Bald and having no facial hair.
Oh but you didn’t
9:09
4:32 14:27 $1,000,000!!!!!!!!!!
By the way the guy who won only $250,000 by answering & identifying NIKITA KRUESCHEV in that photo--If I would have been hosting 5TH GRADER---BESIDES THE $250,000 HE WOULD ALSO WON A SUPER EXTRA $1,000,000 BONUS & A NEW CAR 🚗!!😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
In my opinion if you go for the million dollar question you are automatically not smarter than a fifth grader. Risking almost 500k on a question you cant see is dumb.
That’s what Who Wants To Be A Millionaire did better than all of these game shows. Letting you see the question before you decide to play for it. Doesn’t seem like a big deal, until you get situations like this where you have to be basically 100% confident in order to go for it, with no chance to walk away after seeing the question.
Only 3?
Actually, there were 4 winners
@@arielgonzalez5296 Oh who was winner number 4?
