I worked with James at American Airlines in 2017-18. He legit sat next to me a few days a week. He was a calm, reserved and gentle man. Those allegations of abuse were ridiculous. Rest in peace.

I understand that he seems gentle, and was in this case, but I can tell you that there are deceivers that act like angels to every one else but choose to hurt and abuse one or just a few choice people in their lives and others will praise them to the stars and it just makes you sick. If only they knew. So you never can tell what a person is really like. They can sometimes have a completely different personality at home.

I had a friend who was married to a man that married her and bought her a house for her and her three kids. She cheated on him with not one man, but at least two that i knew of. I feel like that is just evil, and i told her so thinking that she would stop, but she didn't. Karma is a b! She has been gone for quite a while now, may she rest in peace 🙏🏾. She was younger than me when she passed and that same husband took care of her when she could no longer care for herself! When i tell you that god don't like ugly? One of the men that she cheated with, his wife was a quadriplegic and couldn't care for herself. Somehow she found out about the affair and came up to the job! She confronted my friend and told her to leave my husband alone! My friend put her sassy hand on her hip and told the woman, tell your husband to leave me alone! Mind you, my friend had been going over to the man's house having sex with him while the wife is upstairs because she couldn't walk! She would also allow the man to come to her house while the husband was at work. Before she died, she couldn't walk. Sometimes she couldn't remember who she was and she couldn't control her bowels nor bladder, but she thought that it was funny that the man she was seeing had to change his wife's pamper! I don't cheat or mess people over because karma is a beast! I try kindness before anything else or walk away.

@@sunbun86No witnesses are interviewed in the “first five minutes.” Crime scene analysts haven’t even arrived by then. Homicide detectives may not be on scene yet. Investigators have no idea who is culpable in the first five minutes. They ideally follow the evidence.
As a defense attorney I HOPE investigators demonstrate that kind of obvious tunnel vision. I want to be able to convince a jury that investigators fixated on the spouse/partner to the exclusion of other viable suspects.
UPDATE! She was sentenced to life, and the shooter to 62 years.

In 1985, I told my wife that I didn't want to be with her anymore, and explained why. I moved into an apartment, kept in touch, we shared 50/50 time with our children, and got on with our separate lives. Nobody got murdered, and nobody spent a single day in jail, and we're still close friends to this day.

Even if the road after separation is rocky, people don't end up friends or there's a lot of fighting, that's _still_ better than getting someone killed because another person doesn't have the spine to ask for a divorce.

I have watched 100’s of true crime videos, and I never comment on any of them. For whatever reason, this one is hitting me harder than usual. It’s actually unfathomable that people like this exist. Absolutely nothing about him warranted his demise. It’s crazy to to even TRY and think about how many people are sleeping with and/or married to the enemy.

One thing Ive learned about watching all these true crime documentaries is that its almost always someone you know and if the victim is married, its almost always the other partner that did it. With friends/family like these, who needs enemies.
And that’s why it would be terrifying if your spouse was murdered and you DIDN’T do it, because police may have tunnel vision and send you to prison.
I would imagine there would have to be a trial first, and, perhaps viable evidence gathered before that. Still, wrongful conviction is a possibility.
Don’t look at the outlaws… look at the in-laws.
And if the husband is murdered it's almost always the wife's lover who was lied to regarding the husband abusing the wife.

Betrayal exists as long as humans do. Look at all the literature about humans betraying eachother. It’s not a modern thing or some illness of current generations.
It actually does sadden me when you hear good things about a person and then see the pictures of them smiling. I also was fortunate to get a stepmom who I absolutely adored-unlike my abusive birth mother. She was wonderful to me and I miss her so much. She died in 2003. I know how fortunate I have been to have her in my life at all and like you, I consider her my real mom.

"We see murders everyday" hits me in some weird way and makes me realize how lucky I am to live in a country where there isn't a lot of violent crime just mostly due to the fact that we are a small country with relatively good social care and tight knit communities. I have friends who live in places where crime happens a lot, not always violent in nature but just robberies and stuff and they always tell me to be safe when I go walk my dog at night. And I always just laugh it off, because I feel so safe. It's hard to relate to and sad to think that people have to live with caution.

Geez. We tried to start a Gofundme for Diane Renea Justice last week and it barely raised enough to have her cremated. There was no hope for a funeral service. These people had two funerals in different states and our family just wanted one. That hurts. Maybe if he had just been more social then more people know about it. I’m really happy for the family in this story that got all that support, but I suppose it needs to be high profile for people to get help with funeral costs after a tragedy. It does sound like this family got some closure though. Good for them and bless all those people who cared enough to help them.

The world lost a kind & decent human with Jamie. Unfortunate that she was able to bargain out of the death penalty.
I feel that the death penalty is too good for her. Life in gen-pop can't be easy. A few good beat downs is a good start to the hellish life she deserves going forward. And I hope that she lives to be very, very old.
With life without parole she’s got far longer to think *and dream* about what she did.

I honestly doubt there was any realist chance of her actually being sentenced to death (tho she 100% deserves it), so at least the family got _something_ out of the deal.
Another example of the death penalty being a deterrent. If we did it soon after the crime, I guarantee we wouldn't have these kind of crimes. Which is one reason why God gives authority to the State to implement it.
Jamie sounds like the best neighbor, friend, coworker anyone could have. I'm so sorry that his wife could not appreciate that. I pray for her soul. She is unbelievably cruel and cold.

This was so evil! Jamie meant so much to so many people especially his adopted daughter. He sounded like he was the sweetest guy you could hope to know. Jennifer is right where she needs to be and in a way it’s good she didn’t get the death penalty. Now she can rot in prison with just the memories of the comfortable life that she used to have, and in the knowledge that Jamie was the one who is beloved, and she’s nothing but bad memories, that disgust, everyone who ever knew her.
However, she has $200,000 in prison commissary account, and will have plenty of friends, relationships, and her hair did anytime she wants to.
