    Thank you! All the best!
    Info: I am the sponsor. I am not a British citizen. I am a UK nurse under skilled worker visa.
    Also, just a reminder, my video is only based on my experience. There may be facts that I don’t know especially current situations. I also could not answer for those cases that are different from mine.
    🔴🔴🔴UPDATE 🔴🔴🔴
    Regarding the question:
    "Are you relying on evidence from someone else to prove your financial circumstance?"
    I answered a “NO” but I believe that it should be a “YES”. If you would analyse the question, your dependent child does need your financial evidence. However, our visa was approved as well as the people who answered a NO. But it is all up to you. Since we will never know how they decide for our visas.
    🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴🔴
    🔴🔴🔴UPDATE🔴🔴🔴
    Regarding the notes for your address, please don’t mention “LOCATOR FORM” anymore. I believe there is no locator form now since this was just during COVID time. My dependents travelled during COVID quarantine time and we need to submit a locator form or like a tracking address thus the statement “LOCATOR FORM”.

    Budget overview:
    I can only provide what we processed back in the Philippines. Again, this visa application is for sponsors under TIER 2 or SKILLED WORKER (HEALTH AND CARE VISA).
    Dependent visa fee is the same with the dependent adult which is more or less 320 USD (varies due to dollar rate). This is a standard application only.
    TB IOM - requirement for Filipinos - 600 pesos for children. 3,600 pesos for Adults
    Optional:
    VFS (where you process your visa application) packages - varies on the package. We chose BRONZE package which is around 1,700 pesos each visa application.

    Hello ,We are in the process of applying skilled worker/dependent visa with my husband being the main applicant. I and my kids are planning to travel to UK 2 months after my husband enter UK but we are planning to apply for the visa together. Since I selected the option that I am travelling after my husband, in the documents checklist I am being asked to provide the copy of my husband passport with UK VISA ( though I have selected the option that he is not got his skilled worker visa yet)I discussed this with our immigration consultant (UK based) he is telling that it is just the check list, you don't have to wait for your husband visa and you can apply together.But I am not very confident to proceed and apply together as it says if we don't provide the supporting documents our visa May get delayed or rejected.Please advise based on your experience or if you have come across similar situation

    • @mrsfelinacapulso
      @mrsfelinacapulso  Před 2 lety

      Your consultant is correct. You can apply together and doesn’t need to wait for your MA’s uk visa as the uk immigration will also understand why you can’t provide one. I did came across reading stories about this kind of situation and that’s how it really is if you apply at the same time. Just make sure all other available documents of your MA is complete.

    • @mrsfelinacapulso
      @mrsfelinacapulso  Před rokem

      The question was: Do you have any family in the UK, apart from (name of sponsor)? So in our case, we answered no because I am the sponsor and I am the only one currently in the uk at that time. My daughter and husband are together back in our country. Unless your situation is different so answer a yes.

    • @2385boris
      @2385boris Před rokem

      Ok in our case I am in Uk..but my wife and child travelling together from our country of residence..and my wife is coming on her own work visa and my child as her dependent..So in my child’s form we can mention Yes as I ‘her father’ is staying in Uk and she is coming as a dependent of her mother. Is this understanding right??
      I have one more question Mam, in one of the other question where it was asked “Will u travelling with anyone who is NOT your partner, spouse or Dependent “.. I see u said No but I think you child will be travelling with his dad and dad is not partner , spose or dependent…so shouldn’t it have been Yes?? Just a clarification…Thanks

      @mrsfelinacapulso  Před 2 lety

      Ung family member, kung sino man ung gusto nyong e declare na gumagawa ng application ng anak nyo, un ang dapat na ilagay nyo.
      For example ikaw si MA. Ikaw din magdedeclare na gumawa, so ilagay mo mother.
      Tapos ask nila ka ano ano mo si MA (which is ung name mo) then Sagutin mo lng na I AM “your name”.
      Hindi po eto question kung sino makakasabay nya sa byahe. Pero if ayaw nyo malito, pwede naman na ung sino kasama ng anak nyo mag byahe, edi sya nlng din mag declare na sya gumawa ng application nya.

    Respected Sir/Madam,
    My name is Prapti Adhikari (Indian passport number…….)and have made an application for a UK spouse visa to join my husband who is working as a skilled worker(Chef)in the UK since February 2022.
    While filling up the application form, the system gave options of various categories to choose such as; PBS ,start up,inovator or global talent-Partner visa. I am a bit confused here as it did not show any option as spouse or dependent visa. Having mentioned that the category of ‘global talent’ visa seems to be the closest one.
    My 6 years old daughter also applied for child dependant visa and when I filled up the form its showing that I am (her mother) applying for global talent visa stage 2. Could you please let me know if ‘Global Talent visa’ is the correct option to choose for both our respective applications?

      Hi. Just saw your comment. You don’t really need to work for 6 months to apply your dependents for a visa. You can apply for them anytime. And bank statements are not a requirement for sponsors whose certificate of sponsorship (this is given to you from your employer) has a YES for the maintenance. Otherwise, you need to provide one.

    Hi, I am a dependent of a Tier4 visa holder who is in UK. I am applying for a dependent (out of the UK) and I am currently applying for my baby who will be traveling with me. The Consent in visa application asks "Are you relying on evidence from someone else to prove your financial circumstances?" My baby is relying on my account (I am the mother and I am also a dependent) to prove the maintenance. My questions is
    Do I need to answer Yes or No to the above question?

    • @mrsfelinacapulso
      @mrsfelinacapulso  Před 2 lety +2

      This video is for tier 2 dependent visas only. So do make sure this applies to you.
      Anyway, if you are relying on someone financially, then you should answer yes. But if not, then no.
      As for your child, it should be a yes as she/he is indeed relying on you. However, when I applied for my child’s visa, I answered a no since I did not really understand the question then. I thought it was asking me in behalf of my child. Gladly, my child’s visa was still approved.

    Hello maam, I am the mother who is on a student visa living in UK. I am applying for my husband and 8 year old daughter for dependent visa. In my childs case, since I am in UK how will I sign the consent form? OR Shall I give the sole responsibility as the FATHER(he is in India), so that only he has to sign the consent form? Another doubt is : Is the consent form just a typed out letter with the signature just typed out as well or should we get an affidavit for it ?

    • @mrsfelinacapulso

      What we did, I printed the letter, I signed and scanned it and emailed back to my husband. But if you have electronic signature, I believe it will also be enough.
      And as for us, it wasn’t necessary to get an affidavit as we are not separated or divorced and it was still the my husband who is also her father who will travel with her.

      TB IOM - requirement for Filipinos - 600 pesos for children. 3,600 pesos for Adults
      Optional:
      VFS (where you process your visa application) packages - varies on the package. We chose BRONZE package which is around 1,700 pesos each visa application.

      As what I have read in our Filipino FB group regarding a child dependent visa for younger than 2 years, you just have to put in 2 years in that. BUT MAKE SURE to explain it in the ADDITIONAL NOTES/INFO box in the next steps that this and that is the real age of your child and has been living in that address since birth. And with the ownership status of the house, put in OTHER and type in living with parents (if your child is living with you. If not, type in where your child is living - i.e. relatives, grandparents etc or whoever is the owner of the house)
      As for the third party, how you are related to “your name”, as for my experience, I typed in “I am “my full name”.
