Tour of Britain comes to Hawick

A major British cycling event will be headed through Hawick this Summer for the first time. The Tour of Britain, which is scheduled to take place in September, has announced a new route, starting in Hawick and ending in Edinburgh. The Secretary of the local cycling club says he hopes the event will bring people to the town and encourage locals into the saddle.
