So, I'm going to be that guy. After this OP mentions that he was contacted by another redditor who pointed out how his brother was probably a narcissist who saw Op's wife and daughters as trophies. When op mentioned this to the therapist she said it was a possibility, but she wasn't sure. Therapy went well and there was a lot of crying on the daughter's end after OP explained how he felt over the years apart. And that's about where it stopped with no new updates.
