One small detail that would have been cool to add, is if the criminals mid-combat reacted to Spider-Man’s increased brutality and aggression. Like if he did a finisher while Symbiote Surge is active, they would have special voice lines reacting in fear.
That would be a neat detail because spiderman never fought like that

they kind of do. i've heard them get more scared and surprised when one landed a hit, something like "I-I actually got him?"

I love how they managed to put in the detail that the appearance of the suit changes overtime. The more the symbiote bonds with Peter, the more he loses his humanity. I'm sure this is a nod to the Spectacular Spider-Man series.

It’s not just a nod to the spectacular series I mean like the suit is a nod to the spectacular series but Peter loses his humanity is in basically every time Peter gets the symbiote in any media
@@BullyMaguire12365 Yeah, absolutely. I have read the Amazing Spider-Man comics. This the first time that we actually visually see Pete completely lose himself to the suit, before he takes it off which is my point. In other versions of the story, he was always close, but he always removed the suit before causing any serious damage. And the fact that they also retained the fact that the symbiote uses Peter's body at night, while he's sleeping, is all the more awesome. In this story, by the time he removed it, you can see how far gone Pete truly gets. He's like a drug addict. And that's exactly what Insomniac was aiming for, which I love.

Best part is you can emote right after fights to people who are nearby, and interact with them, like that is so perfect 😂😂😂
You know how after you beat the game you can’t switch the symbiote suit to have the black symbiote abilities again, insomniac should firstly add that back maybe in a future update but they should also add the option to change peters voice lines from angry to normal in settings just to get the extra symbiote feel. Who agrees with me on this

A small nod about the black suit is that when he has it on after completing a crime with miles you can’t interact with him
Later when he's wearing the symbiote the game will exclude any missions that don't involve combat for Peter.
Damn they really increased the speed in this game it looks perfect, can't wait to free roam all the time with the classic symbiote suit
They tweaked the swinging mechanics too. If you completely reduce swing assist in the settings, you get probably the closest system to the OG Spider-Man 2 game, to date.

@@s.beezyprince3973Yes, 1 is good for if you don't want to be able to touch the ground when swinging, but also want the more physics based swinging.
If you do want to be able to touch the ground, then 0 is good. It depends on your preference.

This Spider-Man game really brings back spider-man 3 video game & spider-man: web of shadows vibes
They need to make it so you can play as this Peter even when you beat the game
I wish it would have kinda been like the comics where the suit enhances everyone of his powers. Like I spiderman the animated series, when he first got the suit, he cleared an entire building cus his swinging jumping and running speed were all doubled.
They need to add a time of day option and let the webs stay black if you use the symbiote suit after the story is over.
I've always loved the symbiote suit.

It's pretty cool how you can play it in upscaled 4k and 60 FPS and it doesn't look too much different except for ray-tracing.
They should’ve kept the symbiote abilities black instead of anti venom it would’ve been cool to switch the color to be honest hopefully an update would come soon

Same here. I like how it sounds like a darker version of the main theme and unfortunately it doesn’t appear on the OST. Hopefully someone isolates it and posts it because it’s very underrated
I am not the biggest fan of the design, maybe it will grow on me with time. I prefer the more slick and streamlined designs of the Black Suit.

Post game when you choose the symbiote powers (the white one), does your web swinging still look like the same texture as the web swinging with the normal symbiote only gray? Or post game even with the symbiote powers equipped does it force you to swing with normal web material like Spider-Man swings with before he gets the symbiote?

@@shirogameplayAs far as I know, after the main story you get to choose a black symbiote suit and use symbiote powers but the color of symbiote power is white even if you wear a black suit.
@superduper6419 there's no way they messed up that bad, if that's the case it'll probably update to be suit dependent. Really hope that isn't the case
They did. You don’t swing with the symbiote webs, all they had to do was recolor the black symbiote swinging webs.

You can use a version of it, it’s less sinister but still sinister it doesn’t have the little electric guitar sounds. You can access in audio it’s free roam swinging them act 2

I absolutely love the detail on the symbiote suit, sure, both the classic symbiote suits are pretty cool, The default one and the classic one but this one is a whole new level!
You can see how menacing and scary the suit looks even when Peter is asleep it looks terrifying, the way he never speaks the way he never interacts with miles in this video is absolutely crazy, the ultimate Spider-Man black suit and the Raimi black suit will always be my favorites but this one is starting to become My number one favorite black suit! 🖤🤍🖤

Tbh I instead prefer the rage one. I didn't like the first one since they made a mixture between armor and symbiote and that doesn't really make sense in my opinion but it's all good.

Yes but the symbiote abilities change from black to white sadly..but when using the symbiote suit you have the black webs while swinging

You can switch between iron arms and symbiote powers in the abilities tab

You can't use the symbiote abilities only anti venoms abilities.

@@thecardboardconsumer420 they are the same but one of them is black (symbiote) and the other one is white (anti venom). I wish we can switch between the two colors since some of the suits do not look good with the white tendrils.

It's only on the black suits (Black Suit,Symbiote Suit, and Classic Black Suit). The Raimi Black suit stays true to the movie where it has white webs.
