I work for a Development Group Called "Quality Studios" and they are making a Sucessor for CST called "Cruise Line Tycoon"
Another studio called quality studios is working on a similar “sequel” game

DSSIII Is the most realistic one and has the best graphics

i have tried it @captain_kattel, big ships take half-a-fecking million years to turn, (like they should,) and Smol boys can pretty much to donuts on a plate. XDD
@@baltimorefella8407Ive played DSS3 for 6 years and Aeronautica for 4, Aeronautica is a plane game, and has nothing on DSS for ships.

Dss 3 is my roblox game i always play but due to my laptop getting old and the prices to buy laptop in my country getting higher so there's nothing i can do to play that game now but i own most of the good ship such as G2 class, Alabama Class, European class ferry (of which the horn sound is very real now it's suck), Heavy bulk class carrier, and Cruise ship (back then it was useless now it has useful feature).
their new game will be able to play on mostly all platforms it be mobile support, and console support so laptop should be good to run that.

I'm one of the co-founders of the paddleboat shipping universe which created Inland Seas Shipping, and we discontinued ISS as we had made a new, more realistic game based around the great lakes. It's called Paddleboat Shipping XL. It's loosely based off the great lakes with real ships from the lakes, old and new, and ports based off of real life great lakes ports. Try Tiny Sailors World, its an open sandbox world game, u also can join shipping lines only if the owner of shipping lines is there
What i like about DSSIII over Shipping Lanes is the fact you can walk around your ship, sometimes even visit the interior as it sails around the vast ocean. It's really cool that you can go into an Oil Tanker's living quarters in the middle of a journey to the other side of the map.
Minus though is that only some ships have detailed interiors like the above mentioned Oil Tanker, other ships may have either no interior at all (Marriella-class cruiseferry as example, no passenger quarters are accessible), or empty space (Alabama-class container ship, only the top floor has captain's deck and that's it, other is empty rooms without light).
Pretty sure shipping lanes players have that luxury as well
@@vurelius I dunno, maybe i didn't get something, but starter ships in SL don't have that at last.
I mean the auto-drive/drive-lock kind of thing, like the ship keeps going full speed even after you leave the seat. When i tried doing so in Shipping Lanes, starting boats lose speed really quickly and eventually stop.
@@pixel273aShipping lanes allows you to walk around the ship as it sails and you can customise it's interior too
@@Anonymous-hv9yw Ok, maybe i overlooked it. Because being unable to drive-lock in starter ship was the reason i was sceptical about the game and left back to DSS III lol.

Ive been playing DSS for 6 years, I can confidently say its better than all of the other games, its more realistic. Shipping lanes has wave physics and loading animations, but not the map size that DSS has. Plus, Badyacht Studios is making a new game, Nautica, basically DSS but better, with waves, better physics, etc.
P.S. Ramming that submarine with the Coast Gaurd boat is the most sterotypical starter Coast Gaurd player thing you could have done lol

DSIII and Shipping Lanes are two of the best ship games on the platform. The latter is my favorite between the two: I regard it as like DSIII, but better. Maybe not necessarily more detailed, but I like that it's a bit simpler. As for what I consider the best Roblox ship game period, it's Tiny Sailor's World. The best game on the platform, but with later updates it currently gives me brain damage, so I can't be bothered anymore.

I really didn’t understand what you didn’t like about DSSIII. You said good map, good boats… but as the only critic point you said… more boats!? Why? DSSIII has way more boats than Shipping Lanes I believe. A lot of this ships also are incredibly detailed and with interior. Pleas check out the game again and in the ships section you could perhaps check out the boats with the “new” label as these are more detailed. Maybe you change your opinion then😊
