I’ve got a few tee shirts, rugby shirts and gilets that I bought as company kit from Fat Face over 20 years ago and, apart from a few failed zips, the material, screen printing and embroidery are still excellent, no fading! Unfortunately Fat Face isn’t a private company anymore so the quality has suffered. ☹️ Great video, thanks. All the best, Colin.

Hi Shimmy, great content as always. I think it would be a great idea if you did a video aimed particularly at your U.K. viewers (seeing as you are one of us!) explaining in detail how to sell in the American market. It’s the biggest market, and therefore it’d be stupid not to sell there right? But a few things, like Reseller Certificates, the form you have to fill out etc. But also things like would it be beneficial to sell T-shirts in America using Awkward Styles, but the same T-shirt in U.K. using a completely different supplier like Printful for example, due to shipping costs and time etc?
If so, how do we go about listing a product on Etsy let’s say, and implement multiple POD printers to service each territory?
Like, is that even possible? Sorry for the long message, I just think these are really important questions, and is something that’s held me back from getting onboard. You are perfectly placed to enlighten us all. Thanks bro, keep up the good work 👏

And based on my T-shirt pricing, I charged $21.95 and still only made $4.79 per t-shirt. Not sure what country he's in but im in the USA and unless you can factor in your shipping cost with your price, then you can possibly make about $8/shirt. Other than that, consumers like FREE shipping so I eat that cost.

For example, a while ago before GPS was a thing and only luxury cars had them, I found a wholesaler that sold me Garmin GPS for $200 each, I didn't have to purchase in bulk, while the next cheapest price I could find was $400. These GARMIN GPS were going for $600 at Walmart! So I was making a killing on my margin, not only that, they did drop shipping for free and I was charging for shipping and that was 100% pure profit as well!* *I was maxing out my card at the time, of $5,000 per day. you asked to know more about Printerval. I think you should know about them. They steal alot of artwork from Redbubble. They stole a bunch of my artwork too. They are based at Hanoi, Vitenam. From what I can tell, they started about 2019 or thereabouts, They host alot of fake artist profiles which are a front. I found alot of my artwork being spread out across a bunch of what I suspect fake profiles. I think they trawl Redbubble artist profiles looking for the most profitable then take the artwork from whats on display for the web, so they use these artwork to print from, they may even use software to try and improve the quality. But anyway, I know other artists have been complaining too. the trouble is they can just delete a fake profile with infringing artwork and load it up again months later to another fake profile. I had upwards of 70 images stolen and posted at Printerval, I did complain and they did take the images down, but I had to be persistant as whoever it is , were posting more of my images everyday...But eventaully I must have tired them out as everyday I would check and found a couple of my images and would complain. anyway, it looks like I need to constantly check every few weeks. If you investigate I am quite sure you will figure this out. ..The more people who know who these scammers are the better. its just going to ruin POD if these guys start climbing the rankings on Google, which they are. I did join them, and try to build my own store...it all seems fake and very problematic. However did all these other so called artists create their stores, with all the trouble I had I certainly could not recomend them as a POD site for real artists. Anyway, I would be interested to know if you can investigate them...that would make a very interesting video. If they had millions of new real artists trying to sign up. I also clocked their Trust pilot reviews, to me they seem fake, when compared to Redbubble reviews. I suspect they have a small army of keyboard warriors creating fake profiles and creating fake reviews. This is my impression of Printerval, if you find out anything different I would be glad to know, and if it would change my opinion. I enjoy watching your videos, very informative. well done! All the best.

You can find a lot of people who started their "regular" shops, fired up campaigns, and actually lost their money. This isn't the case for the marketplaces. Yes, you can promote your shop via social media for free, but let's be honest - we live in the times when Meta cuts the audiences as much as possible to make sure you pay for the ads eventually.
