@@DaDooM88 It's the only way for Ruler to avoid Azir R. Ruler walked up too far for a Q poke and couldn't walk backwards fast enough to avoid the play. He's not near any wall to flash towards top or bot side jungle so his only flash angle is up mid lane. Insane read by Faker.
Faker made another huge play that is for me would atleast be called as the second “what was that” play. 🔥
it was a good, game winning play, but we had 10 like this from an azir this worlds alone. As good as it was, it was mainly Ruler greeding to poke with q and mispositioning.
His Zed vs Zed play on the other hand was showing mechanical skill and prediction just comepletly breaking ryus ankles without it being a missplay from ryu. you comparing this to a standard azir play is disrespecting the original play
@@dreampower8738 not really disrespecting but putting the facts that on 2017 faker lost to the very same varus that ruler used, and he got the revenge play using azir is way too good. Also the zed play was a 1v1, the play he showed on his azir that I’ve been complimenting was on a team fight, and keep in mind they almost lose that game same like the oriana game way back. So for me one of the best plays I’ve seen.

Also, faker didn’t simply flash ult ruler, he actually Auto then flash ult before ruler did. He predicted ruler’s reaction!

The 1v1 Zed play was purely mechanical with a huge advantage. Faker got a QSS while Ryu didnn't. Of course Faker played that flawlessly but he was chilling at that point, no pressure at all as his team already won the game. It's so iconic because it was the first huge outplay that was performed on a big stage of the League's history.
However, this Azir play is on another level, simply because if he didn't do it flawlessly, his team would instantly lose the game and also the series potentially.
The current T1 has lost so many finals in the last 2 years. They had a serious mental issue after all those losses. That's why they had been so shaky for so long.
We all know that.
Faker knows that, and he had to make a game-deciding play that nobody saw the possibility, with precision, under enormous pressure.
It takes so much more than pure mechanical talent. It's valor and leadership.
That play won them game 3 and help them stay calm in game 4, along with some mistakes from JDG, they ultimately won the series.
Do you even understand how important that play was?
It's not exaggerated to say if Faker misplayed that, they wouldn't lift the trophy yesterday.

Amazing play at around 29:35 of the game. T1 team must have an amazing strategist on the team. T1 team has less money but is slightly stronger in power (dragon soul). Both teams was 4v4 in the middle lane. Suddenly Faker moved quickly to middle lane from the side to create odd man advantage. With Zeus distracting attack on the side to draw two champions, Faker initiated the amazing attack at the middle at Ruler (strongest champion on JDG team at that moment) and everything was done after that. This is the main turning point of lol world championship 2023 considering the series was 1-1 tie and JDG with Baron buff advantage.
This roster of T1 has improved. Last year, when they were behind, they couldn't seem to turn it around. But this year, in both the BLG and JDG series, they showed that they now have the mental resilience to turn a dire game state around. I'm really proud of their growth! :)
I disagree.. They faltered on the finals but they beat every LPL team last year at the worlds too. EDG, RNG, JDG. They’re also bangers you should check them out.
Actually T1 when they're behind had turned it around many times I suggest u watch their matches especially the msi they went undefeated into bc they were seriously beaten by G2 3-0 then made a comeback of 3-0 in the knockouts
@@ST-qo3yl I've watched all their matches since 2021. When I say they can't seem to turn it around, I was referring to their mindset too. In Worlds 2023, their mental state was more resilient than before. That was the growth I was referring to.
@@devocionn I've watched all their matches since 2021. I don't mean they can't turn around games at all. I meant their performance in Worlds 2023 displayed their mental resilience, maturity and teamwork attaining a new level. It was clear that this roster had evolved from their 2022 version.
