The beauty of elden ring is that if you're struggling at a boss fight, you can explore and level up. You need to explore and level up a bit.
Unless it is this boss. This boss if you make the mistake of hopping in that hole and sitting at the grace before getting the grace by the imp statue you are stuck down there until you beat him, which obviously isn't going to happen so I hope you saved your character edits as a preset because you may as well just start a new character.

How did you even manage to use that, you got lucky. Anytime i use any slow ash of war he casually uses a faster and longer version of Melenia’s water fowl dance and eliminates me instantly. I really wish they didn’t give him that attack but his thorough lore about being Melenia’s mentor i suppose makes sense
I think you are confused, it’s malenia that uses a slower version of soldier of Godrick’s waterflow dance , it’s his original attack
@@hereticslayer7612 yea soldier of God, Rick is originally a blind swordsman who defeated the God of rot and sealed him under the lake. The deed impress his patron so much he becomes a deity in his own right.

Did you ever get to the point when you hit him two times and he does the radan meteor attack, but you cant get on horseback because you are indoors? I just don't know how to dodge it and even with full anti fire gear and barricade shield it oneshots me.
@@IridescentKySoul You have to i-frame through it, but be careful with positioning because if you do it to the wrong direction the follow up will kill you, and make sure you have at least half your stamina to dodge the entire combo afterwards, you have to time perfectly to dodge each of the 7 attacks.

I used mods thinking it'd let me beat him. infinite health, fp, poise. and rivers of blood. after 3 weeks of widdling at his health phase 2 started. the cinematics we're amazing. finally seeing the true potential of the soulder of God Rick. after 2 more weeks I got a bill in the mail. the electric bill. the power needed to generate his second phase had costed me 1 billion dollars. I now live under a bridge. my phone will go at the end of the month. the soulder of God Rick always win
You got through his whole first phase? That's incredible, even with mods the attack where he actively steps through your computer screen and attempts to decapitate you is really hard to dodge-roll through.
Ive been on this comment for a year now, damging him has costed me everything, ive had to supply myself with electricity from a tunnel i dug under the pentagon. I think they're on to me tho. A janiter fell through the thin floor 2 weeks ago. I couldnt risk him snitching so i killed him, a week later my MRI's ran out and i was forced to eat him. The light hurts. @@EldenJohnathan you have to use an instakill glitch that does a whole 2 dmg, which is double the max possible dmg you can do aginst him in the vanilla game, which makes the bossfight half as long

@@EldenJohnathan I got there by using scarlet rot and spamming Blade of Death with Tiche, still extremely hard though, even at range you have to be careful with his Storm Omnislash attack because it reaches the whole arena and has ridiculous tracking.

I just wanna say great job dodging his Mach Speed Titan Slice at 0:09, I’ve yet to see somebody who can get the dodge timing on that. It’s mind boggling that From would add an attack that’s unseeable to the human eye, so good on you for managing to evade it.

He always starts with it, but because the timing changes slightly everytime, it mostly comes down to luck.
It's actually not to bad. (It's his easiest attack, he uses it to see who's worthy to even gaze upon him.) If you dodge right as you enter the room it usually misses because it's so fast.

This boss didn't kill you, he applied a health debuff SO POWERFUL THAT YOUR HEALTH WAS SET 0

If you look closely at 0:14 , Soldier of God, Rick manipulates the gravity used by the player but he went too far and used 0.0000001% of his power making himself recoil and be sent back, thus resulting in the 1 damage.
Glad you could tell but you must've not been able to recognize him summon the Elden Beast as a safety measure to block the attack and it bounced and hit him while he wasn't prepared, he wouldn't dare succumb to his own power

He has 99% physical negation in first, second, and third phases. He only resists 69% of fire damage though so use that. However use a physical weapon in phases four through 6 as he then heals off all elemental damage.

I'm surprised you made it through the fog gate. My character always tends to get stuck in the Grovel for Mercy gesture. Tips would be appreciated!
If you use "Desperate Prayer" 5 times in a row while wearing the full Godrick Soldier outfit in tribute to him, he will grant you a boon that allows access to his lair. The first phase opens with an unseen attack you need to roll to avoid as soon as you can move after passing the fog wall. Then, best of luck. He has at least 100 known phases found through data mining, but each person that tries to data mine has mysteriously gone silent.

So I spent 14 hours fighting him recently. Got him down to about 98% health (Spent about 2 weeks prepping for the fight ofc) and when he hits 98% health he summons Dark Eater Midir then 1 shots it to assert dominance. Also if you look carefully behind the fog during the fight you can see the Fume Knight rocking back and forth.
Fume Knight is too scared to enter the room.

P.s. don’t bother with the bubble tear flask. If Soldier of Godrick lands an attack it actually breaks all the way through the bubble and kills you.

If you write a message on the ground as soon as you enter the fog, you are immune to his first few attacks, he pauses for about 5 seconds, then you can attack him from behind doing Max damage
